I've been here a few times for my piercings. I got my nose, tongue, and septum done here. My septum was done wrong. It was the most painful piercing I've ever experienced. However that's not why I'm writing this review. Today I came in wanting a fairly simple tattoo. I lost someone dear to me and one of our favorite songs was called "w.a.y.s.". I asked for the letters to be put on my finger, stretching across so that it took up the entirety of my small pointer finger. As soon as I showed the man what I wanted, there was pushback. He chose a font for me and basically told me that was all I could do. I asked if he could create a stencil for me to try a different location on my body, he said no because he can't print stencils without knowing for sure where I'm putting it. I said "that's ok I'll just get it on my finger then". He prints out a stencil that was too small and only fit on the last small space of my finger. Ok. Miscommunication that's fine. I expressed how I wanted it to start at a certain spot and end at a certain spot. The letters needed to be spaced out. That was literally it. He genuinely made it seem like it was the biggest challenge to do this for me. He proceeded to print out more stencils without even showing me let alone talk to me first. So once again, the stencil he printed wasn't right. This time too big. I laughed and tried to stay friendly explaining that it was ALMOST perfect. This is going to be on my body forever and yes I am very picky when it comes to these things. As EVERYONE should be. He remained cold to me. I felt like I was such an annoyance to him. I got a bit emotional and started crying because I was so overwhelmed with the loss of my friend but also just the blatant rudeness I was receiving at the time too. His third and final stencil was this one. At quick glance, I was like "omg it's perfect!" but then I started looking more. It's obviously wonky. The letters are not spaced correctly. The "Y" is so clearly out of space that it doesn't even look connected to the word. I think what really disturbed me was that he was so okay with tattooing this on my body. Instead of taking the extra time, printing more stencils, communicating exactly what I wanted... he took the easiest route and would've let me walk away with a finger tattoo that looks like my artist hated me. He literally said "well that's the spacing you wanted" and "sorry" sarcastically. I just silently nodded and walked to the front debating if I should even get a piercing at this point. I walked to the front and asked a girl if she thought the tattoo looked off. She said that it looked ridiculous. Confirming my feelings, I decided I did not want to do any business here again. All this to say, it cost you nothing to be kind. You are tattoo artists, putting permanent art on peoples bodies. Not everyone here is like this at all. I've never had an encounter like this here. But this man wasted my night as I got there at 8. I could've went anywhere else that would've taken the time to help me but I chose to go to somewhere I know to help me remember my friend. Do better. I have no idea what his name is. He is spanish with a beard and an eyebrow piercing. Please work on how you treat others. You have no idea what they're going through. Thank you. read more

The design was from Minari tattoo, a tattoo artist that does not have a large following in the United States and is not a native English speaker. Each of Minari's tattoos are unique, commissioned work of people's pets. I think that pulling ideas and styles from different artists is a good thing. I think asking other artists if you can use their work is a good thing. I think that copying another artist's commissioned, unique artwork without their permission is a really crappy thing to do, and it leaves me disappointed. read more

I had some particular requests that she was happy to do, such as the shading, and a minor correction on one of my old tattoos that hadn't healed properly. Great place! First off, you must make an appointment for any service. I only needed to wait one day for the time I wanted to get a piercing. Secondly, when you arrive you have to ring the doorbell and someone will check your ID to see you have an appointment before you can go inside. third, they take your temp upon coming inside. Lastly, everything is sanitized very well and frequently. It was very clean inside and I appreciated that. I got a conch piercing from Misty who was really nice, I've had other piercings before (body and ears) but this for some reason was initially more painful than any other. Misty said I looked pale so she gave me water and a sucker which was just a really sweet touch. She informed me of after care, gave me an after care card which has a lot of instructions on it. I went in a little over a week ago to get my septum done with Misty. There are a couple steps here before getting pierced. First, I made an appointment (I believe they also accept walk-ins). Then, once I arrived I had to ring the doorbell and Misty greeted me and my friend kindly, and took my ID. We had to wait outside and were provided with shade and seats. She then returned with a form and my ID. Once I completed the form, she brought me inside (my friend had to wait outside because they are not allowing guests who are not getting pierced). The inside was very neat and clean. We went to a room, and Misty showed me where I could put my bag and then had me lay down on the seat. She first explained aftercare and made sure I understood. I was a bit nervous since I was alone, but Misty was very sweet and calm, which helped a lot. The piercing was quick and I was checking out in less than 15 min after arriving. It has been a very short amount of time but so far, the healing is going great and I love how it looks. I am definitely going to return and book with Misty for my future piercings once my current ones heal. read more

Felt like tagging alone while a friend got some ink. She's turning 30 and having a mid life crisis and just needed to get a butterfly tattoo (lots or sarcasm but she really got that tattoo). Not sure why they didn't just gag her and keep it moving? Friend walked in with the thought of butterfly tat, but after some input from artist she was able to customize it to a very unique tat that she's just overcome with happiness about...(I thought it was a pretty butterfly - but still a butterfly). My friend and I went in to get our belly buttons pierced. We were greeted promptly & the shop looked clean. We were quickly serviced (10-15 minutes for both of us together) and prices were decent. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that we weren't given any aftercare instructions (thank goodness we both have had prior piercings), and we weren't given a choice of jewelry. My piercing is now healed and happy though! Had to update & lower the rating a star because I called in to get another piercing and the lady on the phone said come on in, by the time I got there (10 minutes later) she told me there was no time for me to be serviced. I asked to make an appointment for the next day and she told me to do it myself online. I already went through the hassle of coming to the shop after I was told I'd be serviced & then told no after. My tattoo came out crooked and I pointed this out and immediately she switched up saying I was moving. She never once mentioned this and said she was "surprised" she even did it that good.
