Can not knock their product. Ordered a new head unit/ speaker set for my ultra. At time of order the website said they couldn't guarantee 24 to 48 ship but will take 10 days. So I ordered after the 16th day still had no product or info whatsever. Called 3 times a day (leaving messages with each) for an entire week. Sent an email a day. NO RESPONSE TO ANYTHING. finally after 3 weeks finally got a hold of someone and let the excuses begin. Covid, weather, you name it. Was still given no idea of when they would ship. Then without word product showed up at exactly the one month mark. I really don't have much to say without being too nasty. I made a purchase back in June 2021. I was told I should receive my order within a Month. Two Months later I had made multiple attempts via Phone & Email to contact them for updates. They will not answer their phone at all. You will be caller one and will be on hold indefinitely without an answer. I was lucky enough to get one response email after dozens of attempts trying to reach out, and that was it, the response was a robo response. It's Mid Oct.now and literally had to make a Fraud report against Fat Heat. I highly suggest staying away and not waste your time. There's to many small businesses out there with better quality wanting to do business, unlike getting blown off by this non professional outfit "Fat Head". Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Bottom line is all they had to do was keep me updated and let me know their still trying and or whatever it was that was holding up the order. If they would have made contact with me l would probably still be working with them and waiting. The most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with; actually... could not deal with them because they ignore your calls/emails if they owe you something. They participate in the classic bait-and-switch, and your loss is their gain; well not today... used my PayPal Purchase Protection which is for this kind of shananigans!!! This company is a FRAUD. Purchased a radio and fairing kit in May 2021. Was told it was backordered and would be available end of July. Never got it. then told August, again nope. Waited until October to attempt to contact them. Phones go unanswered, emails get returned as undeliverable. Apparently they just closed up shop and took everybody's money with them. Mine was a little over $1200. Thankfully I had buyers protection from VISA and they issued me a full refund. If by any chance they are still in operation, STEER THE HELL CLEAR OF THEM. I ordered a radio on June 6th and still haven't received it. The last communication I've had was an email in July stating that it would be soon because they only had a few more orders to fill. Now their support@fatheadcycles.com email address no longer exists. I've tried calling multiple times and chosen every option on the phone to get someone with no luck. I guess I'm just out $700. Sorry I ever did business with a company that has no customer service after point of sale. My sony ax7000 started acting up. The statement that these units are water resistant is a complete lie sony says they are not for motorcycles. Fast forward to my warranty request. They sent me a confirmation but never sent the replacement. Tried calling every day sent right to voicemail after several min on hold even after being 1st in the Q. Sent emails no response. I understand the manufacturers are behind in filling orders but the least they can do is respond with a prerecorded explanation or email. I really hate bashing a business but the fact they dont care enough to respond just aggrivates me. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. read more

Great during the purchase 2 years ago. That's where the positive stops! Terrible when it comes to communication now! I have sent in 5 warranty requests and they will not return messages. When you call they either do not answer or put you back through the loop that tells you have to submit it online and then it hangs up on you. I would never buy from them again! read more

I originally made an appointment with Fat Head Cycles to get my Harley Davidson radio flashed to accept my new Rockford Fosgate setup. Once I was in the shop, I inquired about the new Sony AVX-7000 head unit. After speaking with their Lead technician Nick and asking him of all the pros and cons about the head unit and specifically about the use of the touch screen with gloves, I made the decision to purchase this head unit and have it installed with the assumption that I would be able to use the touch screen functionality like I was told. However, after the installation and later testing, it was evident that what I was told was untrue. Feeling deceived, I took the bike back to Fat Head to have the radio removed for a full refund and to have my old head unit put back and flashed like originally planned. This time the Owner Chris, was the one working on my bike. He rushed through the de-install and install of the old head unit. When he was done, my USB connection was not functional, and several cables were exposed on the brake side of the bike. I didn't have another hour to spare so I figured I would just take it home and fix the issues myself. Never did I imagine that I would be facing a nightmare once I opened up the fairing. To start, the USB cable that was put back into my bike was not my original cable. This cable looked old and beat up. The real problem I had with the cable was that it had a cut in the middle of it, exposing bare wires. Then I moved on to the GPS antenna, again, this was not my original antenna, this had been replaced with an old antenna that also looked pretty beat up, barely any stickiness to the double-sided tape, which made the antenna rattle around the fairing. The WHIM module that was installed prior to installation of the SONY head unit and then removed after, was balled up and zip tied together unmounted. The mounting screws were nowhere to be found. The top mounting bracket where the amp attaches to was missing 4 of the bolts that attach to the speaker pods causing vibration to the amp and vibration noises in the fairing. The speedometer was also loose with two of the screws completely out. This is not what I expect from a professional install shop. There is no pride in the work being produced by Fat Head Cycles. read more

I'm new to ride Harleys I'm at Chris through a friend Chrysalis staff seem very nice and knowledgeable so I had Chris put some tires on for me and tighten up the studs on my exhaust the price was very fair I was very excited about finding someone to keep the maintenance up on my bike I bought a very nice bike as far as looks run strong it's a good bike I keep it very clean I wipe it off all the time what I got it home I started looking at it Aero Micro Screamin Eagle air intake there were Knicks that I'm absolutely positive that they weren't there before they went to the shop I called and left a message because nobody would answer of course they were busy I understood that that was on Saturday afternoon that I called nobody has returned my call yet I understand that things happen I'm very disappointed because I thought that was the place that could help me take care of my bike I learned one thing from that whoever service is your bike go over your bike completely before they service it there's no doubt in my mind there's some scratches happened at the shop the fact that I didn't even get a call back like I said I'm very disappointed read more
