I purchased some signs from Fast SIgns a few years ago and was quite pleased. So, when I needed some additional signs (room identiiers), I immediately thought of Fast Signs. I stopped in (in-person) to discuss what I wanted on a Friday. I was told I'd have a proposal by Monday or Tuesday, When I didn't hear from them on Monday or Tuesday, I waited until Friday before contacting them via email. I received a fairly prompt response indicating they had been busy and apologizing for the delay. They again promised a proposal by the following Monday. It's now late in the day on Thursday and since no quote. Sign quality and service - 3 years ago - was great. Customer serivce today is HORRIBLE - essentially non-existent. read more

I had gotten 2 estimates from other sign companies before hearing about Fastsigns. Afterwards, neither of them followed through with communication and it wound up being a frustrating waste of time. From the moment I contacted Fastsigns, it was a completely different experience. Danell was wonderful to work with, came out and brought different material examples, gave her professional opinion, and had the work completed and installed as promised. I had a banner sign made and it only lasted about 2 weeks. I called representatives (Brian & Darci). They did not want to handle the issue so they past me on to the owner. By the way, the were very quick with taking my $400.00 .The owner (Tom DeVries) did call me back but made no attempt to correct the problem. All he wanted to talk about was zoning, although it clearly states in their contract that they are not responsible for zoning rquirements. This was an attempt to deflect the issue form the sign to the zoning. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. I WILL NOT BE USING THERE SERVICES IN THE FUTURE. I HAVE SIGN THAT I CAN'T USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Working with John was great! The sign project we worked on together required communication and timely responses. John either picked up the phone every time I called or answered my email promptly. Curious what's in store for the holidays... Staff was jumping and the line moved quickly which was impressive. Where it all tanked was the UPS associate who helped me. No welcome no greeting. I placed my package to ship on the counter and she irritatingly raised her voice and said,"What! What are you here for to return an Amazon package??" I'm at a UPS store and while I can understand and appreciate you can ship Amazon packages when returning from them, I was disappointed to hear her push out an alternative brand other than her own. Yikes. I gently explained I was shipping a package. She was super frazzled. Not friendly. Not really helpful. I gave her the address of my father-in-law and to her credit, the system was populating an alternative city name with the right zip. She was smart enough to get some support from another peer and then explained this was her second week on the job. We've all been there I get it, however, the intangible experience in any environment is key. Fortunately, he did get his package and loved his Medallion golf shirt. I am unhappy with this experience and have voluntarily shared with other locals to hit up Polaris or New Albany. The next day I had another package and visited one of these other stores. Complete opposite experience from start to finish. I hope with each passing day her experience servicing others improves and she builds confidence for herself. No fun being the new kid on the block including being that paying customer that feels her pain.

What I liked most was that owner came to us, sat down with us and came up with a design and plan. As the company began designing the sign and some questions arose, the owner came back to us to discuss the concerns. All the major details were done face to face, very little was done on the phone or in emails. Customer service is so important, and having a store owner willing to come to you to address issues, rather than on the phone makes all the difference. I would highly recommend this company. When I came in on Thursday 3/31/16, the counter person was pleasant and knowledgeable, knew exactly what I needed, took my order quickly, followed up on the status of an order that was in process and made arrangements for us to pick up both orders at the same time.
