He confirmed that this is a new business although he has been in the tint business for 10+ years. Based on our conversation I decided to get my WRX tinted. We discussed tint types and darkness and the price he quoted. The prices he quoted were spot on with other quotes I had received, in the end I settled on a ceramic tint at a price actually lower than the original quote. There was no pressure or pitch for an up-sale of any type just general discussion about the merits of the available tint. He texted me with an updated time to pick up my car and was there to review the job when I arrived. He pointed out 3-4 areas that had some moisture still under the tint (he did not want me to think there was an issue with the tint). He said that all these areas would self cure after some time in the sun. He offered multiple ways to pay, Applepay, Zelle, credit card or cash. I can confirmed that all the areas he pointed out cleared up and the tint looks great. Renault was a good guy to work with and provided a good service on time at a good price. I would use his services again without question.
