I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. Next time I need a quick something, I may in fact prioritize Kwik Trip over say Holiday or Speedway. Also the employees working here were friendly and efficient. So even the help really seemed a step above the rest when it comes to gas stations. My kudos to them!

Being new to the area, I've been hunting down the gas stations that are close by. So far this one…read moreBY FAR is the cleanest most upkept gas station I found in the area so far. Like, almost amazingly beyond normal clean! Yes, it's small and quaint and doesn't have the selection of snacks, drinks, fresh pastry smell wafting in the air like some of the bigger ones but hey- I'm on a diet anyway! Sometimes the the smell of cleaning products is a little over powering when I walk in (kind of a dislike for me yet at the same time...it does smell freshly cleaned). I noticed even the outdoor grounds are better kept up than Uhm some of the neighbori g houses and businesses around it. The gas seemed to be a good .05c less than the one down the street a ways to boot. Service?? 2 our of 3 times so far was friendly. Today's dude was a bit crabby, on the phone and let me stand there a few minutes waiting while being I. The phone, then checked his text while ringing me up and didn't say anything to me. Not cool...but maybe he was "putting out a fire" or something. It will still be my go to gas station for now, unless I find one better close by.

His name is Rob. And I couldn't agree more…read more I've never used yelp, never reviewed a business before, but since I just called Rob to ask for contact info, he said there wasn't any. So to the owner, Joe.... This is a customer service position, even more so that being a waitress, etc. He is the rudest human being I've ever met. An older lady once worked there pt, and agreed with me, have me the owner's number but that was before you bought it. Never ever saying thank you or hello is one thing, but scoffing at me and annoyingly correcting me on what I called my cigarettes (when Marlboro changed there names from light to silver, for example), is probably the last thing you want to do to a customer. For years it's been the closest place to my home to get gas, and I started going elsewhere, even though gas costs more most places around here ( I applaud that). Now I know his car and schedule so I just don't go there weekday afternoons and evenings anymore. He watched me wait for has authorization while he (extremely dragging ass) checked the garbages outside ( that were over flowing) and slowly walked in, as my pump has now been beeping for over 90 seconds, and he still took his time in there. I've wanted to say something for years but I'm not an angry person. I worked in hospitality for 15 years. He couldn't even cut it as a dishwasher, let alone make it through an interview. And is he wearing a wedding ring? Poor girl. I really hope someone sees this, as I'm sure nobody checks gas station reviews.

Today their top-shelf coffees/lattes Karuba Gold was only $1.19 +tax. Great! The only problems with this Kwik Trip is it's not a direct in-and-out station (have to take the side road to enter/exit); and the pumps can get busy during the day hours (just try to be patient people). I try to time my visits in the evenings when it's not busy.

Holiday, Mobil, SuperAmerica, and BP are some of the gas stations within a 15 mile radius from my…read morehouse. Despite my variety of choices, I bypass all of these stores to go to Clark (also known as Amy's Mini Mart). From the outside, Clark appears to be a tiny inconspicuous gas station that would make for a convenient stop for a Snickers bar. In the inside, Clark provides more than instant gratification for a sudden sweet tooth. My basis for declaring my loyalty to this establishment come from three appeals. 1) Price: Though Clark is not the cheapest gas station available to me but it is the cheapest in my immediate area. The food and drinks within the store cost about as much as they would at any other convenience store. Though s few of the items exclusive to Clark are much cheaper than their name brand counterparts so i like to take advantage of that possibility when i can. 2) Friendliness: After being a regular patron of this gas station since the spring of 2010, the faces of those that work there have become all too familiar. Some of them I even know by name. I can easily strike up a conversation with any of the employees, even the ones i don't know as well as others. No matter who's working I always feel comfortable and welcome as I walk through the doors. 3) Quality: I'm well aware that Clark is a gas station, not Olive Garden. I don't expect nor claim that their merchandise is high end or superb. I will claim, however, that I thoroughly trust that whatever I happen to buy there will be fresh and satisfying. There is no surprise that going to Clark on a daily basis over the span of six or so months has proved it to be my favorite gas station. But without the aforementioned reasons, I wouldn't be so adamant about upholding my daily ritual. As long as Clark stands at the corner of Douglas and Brittany Drive, you can expect me to see me there once (possibly twice) a day.

Stopped in for Icee!…read more "SA" isn't my go-to gas station (I actually rarely get gas here). Over the last several weeks I seen them advertising a 'pineapple mango Icee'. I really wanted to try it! Plus they have a promo where all sizes of icees are only 79 cents (before tax). The largest size here is 24 ounces. This location offered 5 different flavors of Icee (blue raspberry, cherry, Mountain Dew, tropical fusion & pineapple mango). I ended up mixing Blue Raspberry & pineapple mango! Very good. The tropical fusion wasn't working when I stopped in but sounds like a good flavor as well. Store for the most part looked clean, neat & fully stocked. Not much interaction with the staff. Gas prices were the same as anywhere else in the neighborhood (expect Sam Club, which is where I go for gas, usually about 10 cents cheaper). They do have a rewards program where you save a few cents per gallon which is nice.
