It usually a positive thing when stores follow the same model from location to location. Walgreens…read moreis no different. While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

This is the second time I've utilized this Walgreens for a Covid shot appointment. Just as last…read moretime (two years ago), the pharmacy was grossly under-staffed and the line of patrons waiting were getting vocally and physically frustrated. It made for a very tense visit. Checking in for the shot took far longer than I should expect since I did all of it online prior (?). The person administering the shot was great though--very knowledgeable, personable, and fast. Walgreens, please hire some more capable associates to take care of your customers. The staff members you have seem overworked and frazzled.

I received a text and a voicemail from Walgreens stating that my prescription was ready for pickup…read more I drove 40 minutes across town--during another obligation--because this was the only location that had my medication in stock. When I arrived, there was one person in front of me at the pharmacy register. I waited patiently. As soon as that customer was finished, the pharmacy technician told me they were closing for lunch. I explained that I had just received a notification from Walgreens to pick up my prescription, and there was no mention in either message that the pharmacy would be closed between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. Her response? "It's Saturday," said with a dismissive tone, as if I was supposed to know their lunch schedule. Then, right in front of me, she shut the pharmacy gate in my face while two other staff stood aside doing nothing. Not a single person made an effort to help--despite Walgreens being the one to ask me to come pick up my prescription. This was my first time at this location--and will definitely be my last. If this is how Walgreens treats its customers, I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. It would've taken less than a minute to hand me my medication before closing. Instead, they chose to be rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.

And you're told they're ready and show up and have to wait 45 min because they are not ready. I have never successfully gotten any meds easily renewed here in a timely fashion and it's the only pharmacy near me somehow in this busy city. They make consistent refills impossible for medications I have been on for years it's crazy making.

Located on the corner of Washington Ave, this is a very busy but pleasant shopping experience. The workers are friendly, the shelves are well stocked, and security is attentive. There is a lot of moving parts and the atmosphere is fast paced, but if you want something basic they will have it. The selection is surprisingly large for a downtown grocery store, and tbey stay open until 9pm which is super convenient when you are missing an item or 2. I haven't tried parking but know that it's extremely limited, but if you are within walking distance bringing your hulken bag, the area around it is also extremely relaxed due to the large amounts of downtowners this place serves. Love this spot.

This last trip, I found the cutest pink strawberries on the shelf. Such a delightful and unexpected find. Sometimes, I pick up seasonal products that I end up loving so much I wish they were available year-round. Their popular and seasonal items can sell out quickly especially during busy months. So it can be a good idea to stock up before they disappear. The people who work there are also consistently cheerful, helpful, and polite, which makes shopping there feel welcoming and enjoyable.

A very convenient store in (or if your being technical- near) the skyway!…read more I personally go here to get my junk food fix during the week. They have ice cream (ice cream truck- individually packed options) energy drinks, soda, chips, coffee, fresh donuts (delivered daily), candy, greeting cards, and so much more. They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

LOLBVVS The staff continue to change, but all are personable and professional. I do have my favs, but I hardly see them as much any more. The store continues to try different items for us to try out, which I appreciate. They've also encouraged us to use cash by giving a discount to patrons who utilize cash vs credit cards. Their prices can be a little high at times, but I chop it up to the convenience of having a convenience store within our work building and not having to run up the block to Target, since they relocated Walgreens down a few blocks.
