Having been told all product was on sale, found mine not listed on the flyer. Go figure.Manager extended sale to my product. recieved my decking a week later. Noticed a few with damage from strapping. Once I opened the load, 10 of 38 boards had serious scratches, some had imbedded rocks, 3 of 4 fascia not usable..at $100 plus each, handling in the supply chain and shipping leaves a lot to be desired. Sales guy got Timbertech to cover and replace. After nearing completion, needed 4 more boards to finish, specifically asked for new product. 3 of 4 came scratched...again, also realized I had been sold a supersize box of hidden fasteners for 500 sq ft...my deck is 250....so half left. $480 a box..vs. $299 for 1/2 box....so out another $180...yeah, sorry about that man....not going to talk about the inconsistencies in color, thickness, quality of the framing wood.... People seem friendly enough, just not quite customer centric.

I bought a very large beam 6x12x12 but a few days later decided to buy an even larger 16 foot version. They had no problem with my returning the original. My clueless expression must have shown on my face because the gal at the front desk ask if I needed help. (I later learned her name is Lily) she lead me to the plumbing section and spent some time looking through the rows and rows of straight stops and angle stops hoping to find the right fit. After 5-10 mins she got another staff's (Gabriel) attention asking to help. So together after several minutes and few trips back and forth along the plumbing aisle, they patiently figured out the difference in size fitting between a copper & iron pipe. In the end, Gabriel found the angle stop that fitted the water filter to my bidet. Shout out to Lily and Gabriel for their dedication to assist customers in need. The management should be proud of these two team members.

Updating my review now that it has been changed to a Rona a few months ago…read more When this store was branded as Ace Hardware, it was a great experience. I had everything I needed easily accessed. I seldomly, if ever, needed to travel further for the hardware or tools I was looking for. Quality items at a reasonable price. The moment it switched to a Rona, I started experiencing issues. My first purchase as a Rona had a problem with quality and I needed to return the product. I was giving this review some time, hoping that things would improve. But I haven't had great luck. The inventory availability and selection just don't seem what they used to be. The management of the store told me that their affiliation with Rona gives them access to better product range, since Rona is more Hardware and Ace is more agricultural. But I think this store is trending to become a typical Rona... Which would be lower quality items at average prices, and low availability of products. On top of that... Ownership and staff are the same, and they are still the same cheerful helpful bunch, however the store seems to be very messy and dirty all the time. Definitely not as welcoming and navigable. I wonder why?
