I worked here before but I guess it wasn't as good as they used to be like back in the day. Now things are little different, no surprise there. But this company is still a fabulous company to work for but there are still other companies to call for you car parts. WORLD PAC (EVERYWHERE) FAST UNDERCAR (SANTA CLARA) ALLIED AUTO (FREMONT) YET this is just another great worker that they had but things happen, people change, and if you need your car parts just go tona dealership and get your certified dealers Genuine parts such as like Capitol Mazda rather than these guys. Thanks ya'll it was fun.

If you know what you need and you need it fast. This place is awesome! Additionally the prices are pretty competitive.

For Brian Santos -- I hope you become even more successful. Thank you…read more Honesty. Integrity. Skill. This message is for anyone who values character, peace of mind, and happiness. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, so finding someone both honest and skillful matters to me. Speed Element was recommended by my friend Ronan, who said this is where "car guys" go. I'm not a car guy--but Ronan is. He drives a Nissan GT-R with full carbon fiber throughout. I don't fully understand what that entails, but I trust his judgment. If he trusts Speed Element, that carries weight. Brian handled all communication and coordination, and from my first message on Yelp, everything was clear and transparent. He broke down pricing and parts in a way that was easy to understand, answered my questions patiently, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Before I even came into the shop, Brian was already helping me over text when my car had trouble starting. Instead of pushing a sale, he suggested trying a battery tender first. That said a lot. By profession, I'm a doctor in rehabilitation and sports medicine. Most people don't fully understand what's happening in their own bodies, which is why transparency and patience are essential when working with patients. I shared this with Brian, and he said he approaches his work the same way. That philosophy resonated with me. The team in the back handled the work--wheel balancing, an oil change, and a battery replacement--and Brian coordinated everything smoothly, even applying a discount. I had a vibration between 50-70 mph, and Brian took a test drive with me to confirm it was resolved before I paid. The garage is open, so you can see the work being done throughout the process. Another small but telling detail: Brian offered to secure my belongings from the car in a safe location. It reinforced that professionalism isn't only about technical skill--it's about consideration. It also helped that we're both Filipino-American, which made communication easier and the interaction more natural, though the quality of service stood on its own regardless. No hidden fees. No surprises. Full transparency. If these values matter to you, go see Brian at Speed Element.

TO-DAY. not in 8 weeks. the competition recommended me to Julio's, and WOW, he met my expectations. He had a Leer cap that would fit my truck, ready to go. Needs paint, but I knew what I was getting into, and fine with it. He removed the hard shell tonneau cover, installed the used Camper top, loaded the tonneau in the back, and gave me tips on price and selling it. Fast, Friendly, Fair prices. Julio is the business, and his business is good! I can highly recommend.

By chance I found Julio's ad and since it appeared to be a small business (I'm a supporter of local businesses as my wife has a small business as well). I gave him a call and told him what I had. He immediately said, 'what color is your truck?' and I told him it was a ruby red. Julio had a used Leer cap in that color (almost an exact match!). I made my appointment for the next day, drove down from Corte Madera and the whole installation couldn't have taken more than 45 minutes, even with replacing some saggy lift gate shocks. Very professional and courteous as well as very down to earth. I would highly recommend going here as opposed to a big box chain. Support local business! Shout out to Julio! Thanks again! You are definitely going to make my son happy as this is a surprise for he and his wife.

I was in need of a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 L so I searched craigslist and found an ad from All…read moreAuto saying they had a 95 engine. We called and got the "Ohh yeah, we've got it" so we jumped in the truck and picked it up. I thought $650 for a engine that I was promised ran great was an ok price. When we got there it was a 97 Grand Cherokee engine (completely different but I knew we could make it work) then they swore up and down "We heard it run, it runs great. No clanking, ticking, or smoking." I made sure we had some sort of warranty before paying for it, THANKFULLY. Well the next day we gathered up all the need gaskets and things to do a tune-up (My step-dad's a mechanic, I was raised to do this on any used car or motor/engine.) Once we tore into we realized the number 6 cylinder had massive amounts of oil in it, the ENTIRE ENGINE needed to be rebuilt. The water pump and pullies on the front of the engine had also been pushed into the head so the engine would not have been running when the pulled it. We called them the next business day and were told they would not take the engine back if it was not completely back together which meant they didn't want to see what we found. I'm assuming they wanted us to put it completely back together because they are planning on reselling it and didnt want to have to pay their "mechanics" to put it back together. They did take it back and gave me my money back but they made it seem like we were screwing them over. "Make sure everything's on it, make sure it turns over." BOTTOM LINE- They mis-advertised this engine, they lied to me when they said they heard it run and it was fine, they knew they were doing something shady, and there is NO DOUBT in my mind they are going to re-sell that motor saying that it runs fine.

Turns out, I overpaid them by $100.- While I am waiting for the parts to be removed, the employee comes out and returns the money to me.
