My car needed a new interior rear view mirror, and it's been very difficult to find a new one, even from the dealership. Low and behold, Action Auto Wreckers (and Honda Heaven). I called them to confirm that they had the part. I went down a few days later to pick it up (they pulled it from the car while I waited). I'm not sure what the relationship is, but Action Auto Wreckers is located next to Honda Heaven and the only retail front that was open when I went to pick up my part. Pro tip: Call ahead and have them pull the part so you don't have to wait. Also, the first part they pulled for me was incorrect, so make sure to double check what they give you (and ideally bring the part to them). They were happy to swap it out, but I'm glad I didn't need to drive all the way home and back here to swap it.

Original owner, OEM cat, passed smog, clean title, superior maintenance backed by records. Head gasket fine; no rattle, no steam. So anyway the transmission was acting up (starting from 3rd gear instead of 1st) and I was short on time, which made me make a crucial mistake by taking the car to a nearby shop instead of B & J. Those little jerks at the other shop lied to me and tried to tell me I had to get a new transmission. They said they checked every milk and cranny and that it was 100% my tranny. The only thing is my Moms car shifts as smooth as an angels walking through the gates of heaven. Right away I called B & J (Who was originally my first choice, they were just further away so I didn't have time to pop over there) and B & J said that sounds like the solenoid, which the other shady shop said it is impossible for it to ever be. they said the Elvis would be brought back from the dead, before it was ever the solenoid that was making the transmission start from the wrong gear. Then the other shady shop said we checked your solenoids and they are clean and perfect like they were never used before. You could tell the guy was lying from his mannerisms, long pauses, shaky fingers and side to side eyes. Anyway I snagged my Moms car back and jammed to B&J and what's funny is when I walked in I told another guy who I didn't communicate with yet asked what the problem was and he's like "yeah, man that sounds like a solenoid" so yeah B & J replaced the Solenoid and the car runs like a reborn race car.

Terrifying and Unprofessional Service - OWNER THREATENED TO HIT ME!!…read more My experience at Dcharly Auto Mechanic Shop was not just poor; it was frightening and dangerous. The owner is a volatile individual who threatened me with physical violence. Here's the detailed incident: I purchased a $43 Groupon for a conventional oil change for my Hyundai Elantra. I called the shop beforehand, and the owner, Luimy Olivo, confirmed over the phone that the coupon would be valid for my car (See attached screencap of the phone call made to him). He said come over any time. Went there 2 hours later. He or is staff did not ask for coupon and did the oil change Gave coupon when asked for it after the oil change and he said coupon is not valid because we put synthetic oil in your car!! I told him he confirmed that the conventional oil coupon for $43 will work and he simply denied saying that on the phone. See attached screen shot of the CONVENTIONAL OIL coupon he posted on Groupon, plus the printout of the same coupon that I took with me (I took a picture of the coupon printout in his office as well) I insisted to put conventional and he said he does not has any conventional oil! I again insisted to put conventional so he argued for 5 minutes and then ordered from O'Reilly's and said it will arrive in 30minutes From then on he started talking very unprofessionally One hour after placing order, I asked him to call O'Reilly's. He said he was busy so I had to ask him several times before he called. He told me that O'Reilly's will take another 30-40minutes At this point I told him I cannot wait any more and suggested he send someone to O'Reilly's which is just 1.8miles from his shop and he refused. He lied he is just a manager and is not authorized to send someone to Oreilly's. He is actually the owner of the business. So I called O'Reilly's in front of him but he refused to talk to them on the phone. At this point , I told him he was holding me and my car hostage (while I still had O'Reilly's customer rep on the speaker phone). Right then, HE GOT INTO TOTAL RAGE AND STARTING VERBALLY ABUSING ME WITH VERY FOUL LANGUAGE AND CHARGED TOWARDS ME WITH A CLEAR INTENT OF INTIMIDATING ME AND THEN THREATENED TO HIT ME AND THROW ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE!!! The O'Reilly's representative heard the entire verbal assault and is a direct, unbiased witness to his dangerous behavior. Out of fear of being physically assaulted, I immediately got out of his office and was about to call the police when the O'Reilly's delivery vehicle showed up. At this point I was very tired and shaken so just paid and left immediately after the car was ready for me. I have since called the police to document this horrifying incident.
