06/17/2013 I called to get a quote on two tires with the specific reference 225/50/R18 with a speed rating of V o higher With no specific brand. The quote I got was given, was 129.99 the best price I found in the city for each tire mounted and balanced with tax included. I told the person on the phone whom identified himself as Mike that I will go next day to acquire the tires mentioned above, the reply was that he will have them. On June 18th 2013 I arrived I was greeted and told to park my car 2011 Infiniti G37 in reverse and pay for the tires. did received a receipt with no name identifying Fast tires anywhere. Be cautious they only accept cash only that should have trigger mi at first but mike looked like a guy to trust after the transaction I was told to wait at the entrance of Fast Tires. I waited for two hours with the temperature at 98 Fahrenheit and was told that the person picking up the tires was stuck on traffic I call the number on the advertisement and was told the supplier did not have them. I was instructed to return the next day. When I saw them and checked that the tires did not have the speed rating I requested. I spoke with Mike and he replied "supplier made a mistake " , " I will change them for you in two days, just call me the they before". The change the tires on two rim 18 with new Nexen tires 225/50/R18 that had a speed rating of H. not the tires I had order. As I was drove on to the palmetto 826 south bound notice that the car had a floating sensation and moved to the sides. I pulled over to the side of the highway to check the new tires and I was missing a screw in the rear right tire. I call immediately and was instructed to drive back to the shop, when I arrived they put the missing screw on and I left, after drive a mile the sensation of the car moving to the sides persisted which led me to return to the shop. Mike did a test drive and verified that the car did have floating sensation, and told me that it will eventually go away with that said I went on for a day and the feeling was still on the tires. I called next day to check if he had received the tires that I had purchased from Fast Tires INC his reply was the supplier did not have them, but for sure next week he will get them. after 30 days that the supplier was not able to get the tires that I was promised I called Mike and he told me to take the tires back and he will give me the full refund of what I paid.
I went to Fast Tires Inc with two(2) tires I had purchased elsewhere in order to return the Nexen tires and received my refund. I was told that it would be a maximum of 4 days for the supplier return the money to Fast tires therefore them to give it to me. 4 days went thru Mike told me that the supplier had approved the refund, but that they needed a photo copy of my driver's license, which a forwarded to him via email. After that I called and was told that they needed to send a form that I need to sign, but they have not been able to do so. Then I decided wright formal complaint to Fast Tires INC. called next day mike was upset because I had sent an email and he cursed and said to go and pick up the tires that I wasn't going to get my money back
I have called approximately 129 times in the last 42 days and have drove over 150 miles in order to resolve this matter, but for now I lost the money. I just writing this because I do not want anybody else to fall in this trick to save 40 dollars. Like I did for being cheap. I ended paying the price of 4 tires went I just needed 2.
