The 1st dispatcher, Kelly, did not do her job well although I called her 3 times to find the…read morecurrent update, and she wouldnt' smoothly do the business, or call back to apologize for not monitor the messed up arrangement, and she sent a single driver for 2-men white glove delivery, and, the delivery guy called me way too early in the AM, waking me up, and threatened to take the delivery when I explained the unresolved open case from the previous day, which Kelly walked away from without any resolution, knowing the following scheduled delivery would be before Noon the next day. This odd driver who now knows my address insisted "I am coming to you right now" dropping off the appliance, alone, although I asked him to wait till the dispatcher would come to explain what is happening. I was worried about the mishandling and damages done to the appliance one could never be able to pull inside the house. I think the driver was thinking of dropping it off at the curb/driveway, which I would refuse. Sounding angry and Insisting my appliance blocking the other deliveries, he insisted he did not care what I discussed with the dispatcher, but he would come to drop it off. Although another dispatcher, John, I spoke to apologized and explained this driver should have dropped it off temporarily to their partner trucking site and not bothered me like that, and that the 1st dispatcher should never arranged a 1-man delivery for 2-men white glove delivery that I paid for, without notifying me ahead of time, while I called her previously. This is a neglect of their job operation and to me, a little failure, not a communication breakdown or misunderstanding. The 2nd dispatcher now has set the different date and assured me he would arrange different drivers for this 2-men white glove service but I am too concerned of their reckless, misbehavior now as I witness this is how carelessly and crudely run their business. Cape Cargo is a part of CEVA trucking network for large appliances deliveries, but one's $$$ investment is handled by crude people so far. One should make sure he asks the sales company to ask for a different trucking company to avoid this mistreatment. And, record, email or text msg with them in every step for paper trails in case of any arising dispute for damage to new $$$ investment.
