Called ahead, asked what the cost of battery change for my watch. They asked what brand watch, I said Cartier...they said $50. I thought, ok, fine. Drove to the mall. Get their, the tech takes my watch, looks at it and say, $120!, I am like, wait I called in and was told $50. Tech said, he does not set the prices, owner does, owner has already left. Discuss it more, he wont budge. I watched a YouTube Video...did it my self in under 10 minutes. read more

Never! My mom brought her watch here. She's had it for 15 years. All she wanted was a new battery. They replaced the battery, but they forgot to put the gasket back in and then when it got wet (as it always did before) it got in the watch and so she brought the watch back to have them fix it or at least replace the battery and dry it out. They told her it would be $45 to replace the battery and when she said no, they put it back together WET! It has since rusted in the gears. My Son took it out to his workshop using alcohol he saturated it and blew it out with the air compressor and it's working again. We Will never ever take jewelry to this place again. Our family has a very large presence in this desert. We will always advise against this place anytime the conversation of jewelry comes up. It will be a first and foremost part of the conversation. read more

Fast-Fix is right! Most repairs can be done while you walk around the mall! Can be a little pricey but you get what you pay for!

Very professional and knowledgeable about variety of watches including European brands. Reasonable prices. Convenient in mall area near food court. read more

I went here to have a ring I purchased from Costco resized. The work was done on-site in less than an hour and was perfect. The sizing was spot-on and the craftsmanship was excellent. It was a bit pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for. read more

I am a loyal customer. First and foremost Roberto is excellent at his craft. He is friendly, professional and prompt. I have referred my friends and co workers colleagues for their repairs, purchases. I have always been the recipient of quality service. Amanda is awesome. Went to get a simple battery replacement and was quoted 49.00. What a rip-off. Went a few stores away to expert repairs by Joseph and got it done for 25.00. Go to fast fix if you want to give your money away! read more

I went to fast fix to get my battery replaced. I've been to this place a few times before and always get great service. This evening was close to closing time due to my work schedule I wasn't able to make it earlier. Amanda was there to greet me and walked me thru the pricing for the battery replacement. It was a great deal for a five year battery guaranteed not to fail. She mentioned it would just take about 20 min to replace. She would be able to replace it in that amount of time without any problems. I mentioned to her I was going to get some food and she was going to text me a message when finished. I didn't hear my notification when she finished. I proceeded to return and to my view she was starting to close up the shop for the evening. She still took care of me to allow me to pay for the services and did it all with a great professional attitude . We need more people that show they care for their clients and go above and beyond to show their appreciation for the business. I will definitely keep on referring all my friends and family to get their repairs done with Amanda and staff at Fast Fix. Thanks again for my watch battery replacement. read more

Came to see if they could possibly clean my jewelry and I'm honestly not mad they weren't able to, but the guy barely speaks English and he couldn't have been more rude about saying no. Hard pass on this store just off attitude alone read more

I brought an earring in for a clasp repair. The gentleman at the counter fixed it in about 10 seconds and didn't charge me anything. I'll be back when I need any other jewelry repaired. read more

I went in to have my David Yurman bracelet fixed today. They did a great job and it was ready in 20 min. and fixed beautifully.

This place fixed my wife's wedding ring. It was an engagement ring and a wedding ring welded together and the weld came loose. It was quick and actually much cheaper than the other stores in the area. It was recommended by another jewelry store in the mall. They even cleaned it up and it looks better than new. read more

Great service. Highly recommended. Took care of my glasses in a day! Not easy to find, but worth it. read more

BUYER BEWARE WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THIS PLACE. I've never been treated so rude and disrespectful in my entire life. To top it off I paid way too much, $149, to have a ring sized from a 10 to 11. They charged $45 to sand down a rough spot on my wife's ring. The repair looked like it caused a weakness and when we pointed that out they said another $65 to fix that. We went next door to Ruiz Jewelers and they said $49 to resize a ring one size and they could also fix my wife's much better and not rip us off at the same time. Do yourself a favor, go next door. read more

I have changed my rating to 5 stars! Only because the owner responded and he was very nice about it. And the explanation I completely understand! Fast Fix in Palm Desert is great! I've taken "many" of my watches to this business and each time I always receive great customer service. Roberto helped me today and he was very professional and friendly. The only downfall I have to state is that the 5 year battery warranty cost went from $29.95 to $39.95. That's a bit of a hike. Other than that, this place is great. read more

My husband dropped his watch and the band came apart. The wonderful salesperson, Mana, reconnected it in a matter of minutes and did not charge us for the work. This was very kind of her as should could have charged us any amount as my husband was very anxious to have his watch back on his wrist. We highly recommend this business. read more

Fabulous service and workmanship. Next day service. We walked in and Maria took such good care of us. Helped us decide on what design to go with using the gems that I had for my ring. Robert the goldsmith came out to evaluate the gems and the entire job. The end result was wonderful and we highly recommend them. We even went back the next day and had them do a few more items for us as we were so happy. The ring sparkled better than new. Wowza thank you Maria. read more

I brought my engagement ring here to be resized and to have a bezel added to the stone which would remove the prongs. This is a 14ct WHITE gold ring with a 8mm by 6mm sapphire rated at 1.33ct. The bezel that was installed was not made by this jeweler, but was pre purchased. The bezel covers the stone all the way to the plateau and covered more than 2mm of width and 1mm of length which significantly reduced the light transmission within the stone. When Roberto quoted the fix, he said it would be a thin bezel and would be the same color as the ring. As you can see by the pictures, the bezel is yellow gold and does not match the color of the rest of the ring. The order was also to reduce the size of the ring by a 1/2 size. The size was the ONLY thing he got right. Except, he did not fix the Rhodium coating on the band and now that looks like yellow gold now, and is no longer white in color. My fiance picked the ring up today and is extremely unhappy with the results. When Roberto was asked to fix the issues, he was extremely rude and refused to help us further unless we paid the same fees again that we paid to have the original work done.  We are extremely unhappy with the quality of work and horrendous customer service provided at this store. Would give zero stars if that was an option. Do not use this place at all if you value your possessions.  The ring was taken to 2 other jewelers who are unsure if this ring can even be fixed at all. read more

I spent $95 having a silver squash blossom necklace restrung with one piece of turquoise re-glued. Thought it was height but it's a good piece and I didn't want to go all over trying to beat the price. And they could get it done in a week. When I picked it up I brought a pearl bracelet that was not broken but one small ring attachment opened and the other ring needed to be put in and then the ring closed. Very simple and quick. A matter of closing it with small pliers. I was quoted $25!! I was shocked especially after a pricey repair. I walked out and stopped at a watch and repair shop close to Macy's, showed them the bracelet and the friendly gentleman said no problem and NO Charge as it took him less than 30 seconds! I'll be referring customers there for sure. Good business sense. read more

Excellent customer service. I brought 1 watch for repair and 2 watches for adjustment in the wrist band. The manager, Caroline, was very knowledgeable and personable. She showed me that one of the watches was self adjustable and I actually did not need it serviced. She actually showed me how and adjusted it my wrist size at no charge. She also gave me valuable information about my ceramic watch. I highly recommend this particular store for and jewelry or watch repairs. read more

No wonder this place was not busy .. I brought a plain old watch for a battery , didn't even ask the price because every watch place I have been to charges between 8 - 10 bucks at the most . After asking my name, phone, etc, I said how much? He said 23.00 . I said , are you joking?? He said no. I remained nice and said, well, I guess because your rent is high in this mall you have to make up for it . I was so mad inside , I just got totally ripped off !! I will never go back .. Too bad he is a lousy business man not knowing that it's all about volume and having customers return. read more

Excellent service, great price. Could not be more pleased. Would highly recommend Maria and Robert.

Stopped by to get a battery replaced for my Bulova Marine star watch. Guy working the counter looked at the watch and said it would be $29.99 without warranty and $39.99 with. I thought the price was a bit steep so I asked why the price was so high, I've had batteries replaced in the past and have been charged half the price. He explained because it was a chronological watch the process to replace the battery was different than a standard watch. Unconvinced by his explanation I took my watch to expert repairs and asked for a quote. $10. I was in and out of the shop in less than 5mins. I do not recommend this store as it is clearly a rip off and are over charging their customers. read more

I had a nice clock that no one wanted to bother with. Fast Fix tried one option and it worked but they monitored it and realized it wasn't keeping time so they tried another option. I placed a silver cross at this store for repairs on Feb. 27th. I paid $300 in advance to cover the bill. As of May 21st they DO NOT answer their phone. The Corona closing is over. I requested a call back...I requested they mail MY PROPERTY to me. Nothing! they ignore me. Well, I will have to go to the mall (against my better judgement. I am 67 years old.) I probably won't be in a good mood. They ignore phone messages. read more

I came in earlier this morning to repair a necklace that is very dear to my heart. Emanuel was extremely polite and courteous. He was knowledgeable about the products and offered me different options of various prices to fix my necklace. The other two people working there were okay- the lacked in personality and friendliness. I am so relieved I was able to get this repaired quickly and efficiently. I now have a sturdier clamp on my necklace which will not only allow me to remove the necklaces easier but also keep it working longer! read more
