All I can say is wow. My Mom passed and left me her diamond engagement ring. I brought it to a few places and they all quoted me ridiculously low. I knew it was bigger that what they told me and I knew it was worth way more than I was quoted. I decided to find a certified gemologist who specializes in diamonds. I went and saw Jimmy at Hope diamonds. He gave me almost 5 times more for just for the diamond than I was quoted at the other "fancy" jewelry stores for the whole ring. I was more than pleased. I kept the beautiful setting for sentimental reasons and together we picked out a beautiful blue sapphire to go in the setting. I went to the store not dressed up at all and unlike the other stores, he did not judge my worth by my appearance. My wife and I were shopping in the mall for a 15 year Anniversary Ring.... we looked at 4-5 of the jewelry shops in the mall. None of those stores we looked at had anything unique or different; as I wanted this ring to be full of diamonds and I knew it would grab us when we found it.
