I went to this store in Century City yesterday to have my Hermes Cape Cod watch battery replaced. The tall bald guy who works there, sorry I had to describe him in that way physically because I didnt get his name, gave me a price quotation for $175.00 to replace the battery of the watch! I was so shocked because the last time I had my battery replaced was by westime watch store on Sunset Blvd which now SKIM store, I paid only for $35 bucks. Unfortunately the store got closed. I sternly said "ohno!" For the $175 price. It felt as if it were a highway robbery! Just 30 mins ago I searched online where to have my battery changed. Since I was in Burbank area. I found a place named Watch Doc on Riverside Blvd, Burbank. I called the number and inquired for the price, the lovely owner told me it will cost me about $25-35. Voila!!! That's what I was talking about! The battery replacement should be around that range and not a $175.00 bucks! So what I am trying to say here is that stay away from FastFix when you want to replace ur battery. Search online and go to a reputable watch repair shop who really knows about watches and not a jewelry repair shop like fastfix who would bill you an arm and a leg! read more

Been needing to do this review for years. I didn't because I'm still angry about it. My wife accidentally brought in the wrong watch for a battery replacement. She brought in my Casio G-Shock MTG. I called her as soon as I realized she took the wrong watch but I was too late. They took out the battery. They put it back in the the watch has not worked properly since then. The time can be set but nothing else (calendar, location, etc). I've read that the G-Shock MTG's and MRG's should only be serviced by an official service center or a shop with much experience in these watches. Do not bring your high end G-Shock here. read more

Ive had the new series 8 Apple Watch for more than a year and have always used 3rd party bands as a replacement to the rubber ones provided. My current band began corroding where the band and the watch connect. I thought nothing of it until I wasn't able to remove the band & yesterday the watch buckle broke off. I work across the street from the century city mall and walked to Apple who couldn't help me remove the band and informed me to take it to a watch servicer. I walked into fast fix desperate for help since the band that got stuck on the watch and now the buckle was broken making the watch unwearable. I had a few races coming up and was looking for a temporary solution. She couldn't remove the band from where it connects to the watch but she could change the leather and attach a new buckle. I was impressed by her quick thinking also was impressed with their selection of Apple Watch bands. She found a leather that was very similar to the one I previously had which was worn and torn. In addition to coming up with the idea, she also agreed to try attaching it to the embellishment. It totally worked! And I only had to pay for the band which was $21 and change. The woman helping me also sized it for me! Apple was completely unhelpful but this place saved me in the short term to at least be able to use my watch after the original buckle broke. fast fix - faster break. purchased a very nice watch strap the man who did the repair was polite and quick . I paid $50 for the strap and install. The thread which secures the strap to the watch started unraveling within 1 month of very intermittent wear. I estimate wearing the watch a good 6 times. I brought the aforementioned watch strap along with several other watches back to the store with inventions to purchase new bands and potentially have the broken band repaired .This time I worked with a middle aged women, I won't say she was rude but she was not welcoming - I was told they don't offer warranty's on leather bands. if that's policy so be it but I couldn't purchase more $50 straps given the unreliability of the first, so I left. I'm personally in the fashion buisness so I know the same straps they are selling are alos sold DTLA jewelry distract ,but have 3x-5x markup since fast fix is selling in Century City mall. BEWARE!! Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be royally ripped off. I wanted to merely remove a couple links from a watch to make it smaller. Mind you, I've had this done complimentarily in the past by friendly jewelers since it doesn't take long at all, but I expected the cost to be around $10-15, which is what online sources say is standard for reputable places. As I took out my watch (which was not a Rolex or anything fancy, by the way!), the guy told me the cost would be $49.99. What?! I thought he must be joking but no, he wasn't. I obviously left. I'm still confused as to why he would suggest such a ludicrous amount when the store was completely empty and he was just twiddling his thumbs anyway, but I guess we'll never know. And in case anyone wants an alternative, I went to Weiss Jewelers at the Grove that same day and they said the price would be... wait for it... $7. P.S. Tiffany's charges $60 ... want to take a guess at what this place charges ? $120 !!!!!!! How can you charge MORE THAN TIFFANYS? That is INSANE. The entire job takes no more than ONE MINUTE. And the woman tried to rationalize with me that its for "labor" and price for "silver". This adjustment involved taking a pin or other sharp tool to press down and remove and reset the length of the band. Maybe 2 minutes, tops. The guy quoted me $39.95. I understand that people need to make money but when they are dishonest, they deserve to get a bad review. Today I went to Westfield Century City because my Citizen Eco Seahawk Watch was kept away from the sun for over five years and it wasn't working. I visited the Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs store. I showed the watch to the employee there and he immediately told me: "You need the Capacitor Battery for Eco-Drive. It cost $170 dollars and takes 3 weeks to order" I replied saying: "I will research and see my options." And left the shop. I came home and checked videos about my watch model and found very useful tips. I placed the watch on the sun for less than two hours: started working and automatically the calendar, time and location, adjusted. (See picture below). I didn't have to spend $170 dollars as they guy at the Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs suggested. I also checked the cost of the "Capacitor Battery" and it cost less than $30 dollars. (If needed). I purchased a watch at Bloomingdale's and it was a little too snug. I went to a few watch places and they all told me that this specific brand requires it to be sent out to a professional and the repair would be done in 10-14 days. Frustrated, I went back to Bloomingdale's and they too couldn't help me and recommended that I go to FAST FIX in the downstairs area at the Century City mall. I was met with a smile and friendly man. He had a glance at my watch and said that he could have it repaired in...........30 minutes!!!! I returned and the watch was now too loose. I was embarrassed to be "that guy" and asked if he could just have it returned to the original size. He again smiled, said he can do it at no extra cost, and it would be ready in 10 minutes! When I returned 10 minutes later, not only was it completed, but he was able to insert a 1/2 link that was unique to this brand. My watch now fits PERFECTLY!!! I went back today and Cesar looked up my history and REFUSED to re-glue the stone until I paid him (AGAIN) because it had been over 30 days. AVOID, WILL BREAK YOUR WATCHES On 12-28-20 I dropped off a 500USD watch for a watch repair service to fix battery issue. Picked it up on 1-4-21 with a warranty period on their repair service. Watch was not fixed adequately with the alarm sound broken and date function broken as well. Returned 2-27-21 within the warranty period to fix the watch after they broke it in their original battery replacement service and they broke it even further while it was in their care again. Watch is now completely inoperable due to their second 'repair' service and they have refused any compensation for their negligence. read more

I had a good experience here. The material on the band on my watch was starting to peel off so I needed a new one. A friend told me that they had ones at Fast Fix. I love the location of this shop which is right in the Westfield Century City mall on the very bottom floor next to Gelson's supermarket. It's a very convenient location. I brought in my watch and a nice lady at the desk helped me pick out a band to match. The band is water resistant which is nice. The purchase of the band included the labor which was great as well. Francisco was the jeweler there and he was fast and efficient. I did some errands and then came back and my watch was ready and it looked so beautiful.
