The windshield tint is not noticeable and seems to be a common aftermarket installation; particularly in areas that get a lot of sun. During a very warm month of March, it seemed like it kept the interior cooler, putting less strain on the A/C. Gabe also applied PPF over the front of the vehicle and tailgate as well as door cups. It's nice knowing these surfaces are protected from rocks, and anything that could chip the paint. A lifetime ceramic coating was placed over the top of everything to promote a lasting shine and protection for all surfaces. This is the third vehicle that Gabe has provided this service for me, and he always does a great job. High attention to detail, dependable timelines and a fair price. His new shop in Marina is very nice and reflects his quality oriented business.

Once I got home, I discovered significant damage on the driver and passenger door panels that had been removed for the tinting. The panels were pulling away from the door frames. Four clips on each door were either missing or broken. Three bolt-covering end caps were missing and the rest were installed incorrectly. A bolt was missing from the passenger panel. The plastic was scratched and jagged where it had been pried off, and the black rubber pillar window seals had razor-blade cuts. I even found a razor blade left on my seat. I contacted Nate that same day with photos and videos. He would not take my calls, but he did text to apologize and offered to repair the damage. He explained that his most experienced tech had called out and two younger techs worked on my van. I agreed to give them the opportunity to correct it. Days went by with no follow-up. After multiple messages, Nate said his expert tech had "fallen off the face of the earth" and suggested his "plastic guy" repair the damaged panels. I was skeptical, but he promised to schedule the repair soon. Then more days passed with no communication. At no point would he speak to me on the phone. After eight days, I went to the shop in person. Nate was not there, but his brother inspected the van and agreed the work was unacceptable, especially the cut window seals. He assured me they would make things right and said refunding the tint cost was the least they should do. A week has passed since then with no response. I had to take the van to the Mercedes dealership. They confirmed missing and damaged clips and improper reinstallation. They also said the damaged seals should remain watertight but are visibly compromised. I paid $350 for the tint and $758.13 out-of-pocket to have the panels repaired. The seals remain damaged. I genuinely liked Nate and his brother. Their shop is clean and they seem to care about quality. However, ignoring a customer after damaging their vehicle is unacceptable. There is another review describing a similar situation tied to personal issues Nate was having. That may explain things, but it does not excuse the lack of accountability. The tint quality was great, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their work.

Kidding, my wife's car is a 2026 Honda Odyssey Elite. Chico was very patient as he explained the entire process to me. He never try to upsell me as he provided the different packages with different price points I can select from. I had some experience with XPEL PPF as I have it on my car since 2014 and it lasted. Chico was very easy to talk to, never has he made me feel stupid for asking questions. For me I want to know the people I hire to work on my wife's car will spend the time to do it right the first time. Yes there is always a cheaper place, but I believed I am paying for the skill and their time. My wife and I valued their time because it took several days to install the above mentioned. Chico and his team are very professional, I even stop by the day before to check on the car. All the things I requested to be done on the car was done, which was a lot. Never had I need to remind Chico, which was amazing. When we picked up her van, my wife loved what they did.
