Victor guarantees work and tint for life. Well guess what the tint started bubbling on all my windows. He has done many of our cars and they all had the same problem. When I went to talk to him about it he was arrogant and very rude. Asking me for not only a receipt but the product (tint) information. Are you kidding me!!!!!! Did not own up to his mediocre work and crap costumer service. He said he could replace it at regular cost which was north of $350 dollars! Last week while having a winch put on my new Raptor at Street Scene in Watsonville I wandered next door to Eclipse Tinting and met Victor. His place will never win a Good housekeeping award but during a brief chat he impressed me that he knows his stuff. I like that he works strictly by appointment, does all of every job personally, and takes however long it takes to do it right. So, I started off with full tints on the Raptor and was so happy I went back with my 2014 F12 Berlinetta. It took six (6) hours for the job and worth every minute. The Ferrari is stunning with the 15% tint windows over the Rosso Maranello paint. In the past I've used several of the 'slam and blam' places for my high end cars which, although the jobs turned our OK, always made me nervous with the way they treated my cars. I'm surprised at the negative reviews in the past. I brought my car here a few years ago to have all the windows tinted. Only took a few hours and the guy really does quality work. I currently live in Gilroy where it gets in the 90's and 100's and the tint still hasn't peeled or turned colors, it looks just like the day I got it. read more

Brought my Corvette Z06 here a month ago to have Victor re-tint all the windows. My car has the dot-matrix pattern on the top of the back window which is notoriously difficult to tint. He computer-cuts all the tints for a perfect fit. The two side windows looked flawless as soon as I got the car back. I asked Victor to try sanding down the dot-matrix and he tried but the tint still didn't stick all the way. I know this is normal but I'm a total perfectionist so I wasn't quite happy. He told me he would re-tint until I was totally satisfied. I brought my car back a few weeks later and he completely re-did the rear window. Victor installed a small strip of vinyl on the top of the window. Now the rear window looks completely flawless. I couldn't be happier with the service at Eclipse Window Tint! read more

I've had my car windows tinted since I was in college. Hmmm, long time ago. The first car I had done was a 68 Chevelle station-wagon, so that tells you how long I've been having my car windows tinted. I've watched the job being done on my last three tinting jobs. Victor's work ethic, attention to detail and use of technology is so far above anybody else I've used that I'm surprised anybody in the area (or outside the area), goes to any other window tinting provider. ********IF YOU VALUE YOUR THINGS AND CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICHLE DO NOT BRING IT HERE*****this place is a joke I brought my Audi A6 to this location based on reviews and referrals big mistake the owner Victor claims that he has worked on expensive cars "bentleys" I went to him on a referral first of all he said he had worked on these vehichles before but he hadent he kept my car over night claiming that the tint was not responding "on the widows" after the back window was completed. He then told me that his paper was deffective and would call me back when he got the material in in stead of setting a time or scheduling me he seemed like was shinning me. Not how he wanted my business in the first place I looked at my car and the side panel was cracked/damaged this was not there in the first place my vehicles interior was perfect before brining it here he didnt know how to work on this vehicle when I told Victor about the damages he now claims that "he never touched my windows" that he never touched my panels, if this was true then why would he have it over night and tell me the tint wasnt sticking properly. I know exactly what happened he tried pulling the panel off and BROKE it then checked how much it would cost to replace and sax. This guy is a JOKE DONT DISMANTLE A CAR IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! These are expensing vehicles and have a lot of electricle components I should have known THE GUY DRIVES AND OLD BUSTED HONDA HATCH BACK that should of been a red flag completly un proffessional and wanted to charge me almost $300.00 He claims that he didnt damage my car he is lieing this vehicle is too new for it to be wear and tear there is nothing wrong with my vehicle until I brought it here. Update: We have now had three vehicles tinted here. It's definitely our go-to place. They might not stock many kinds of tint, the shop might look a bit run down, and they may not keep anything close to their posted hours, but the quality of the tint itself and the workmanship are top notch.
