Storage Building is Great but Don't Get Taken by the Referral Fee…read more They offer a $50.00 referral fee if you send your friends. Well, I did just that. No problems with the units. Clean, protected, etc. but when it came down to collecting on the referral fee, they said the new tenant had to select between getting a month free rent or me getting the referral fee for sending them there. What the heck?! That is not a referral fee. You either offer a special to the new tenant or you don't. You either pay a referral fee or you don't. What you don't do is lead people on. Keep in mind, when you look online, the one month free rent is advertised. It is not an either or situation. Extremely frustrated and feeling taken and abused by this company. I will NOT refer to them in the future. I now see what business means to them.
