Upon signing for a title loan with this company, we were sure to ask how long after a payment is due until they repo the car. They said they let it go 30 days before they "start the process." They say, "we don't want to take your car, we just want to get paid back."
21 DAYS after a payment was due, they took my car. We called and the extremely rude woman that spoke with us on the phone said "oh NOW we can get a hold of you." She then said to get caught up that we needed to pay 2 payments. We told her, no, we are 21 days past the due date. She told us that the next payment was due when it was still 10 days away. Then got frustrated when we corrected her a few times and she said "fine, what CAN you pay?" We were told that they were quick to take our vehicle because it was valuable and therefore got bumped before the other cars that were less valuable but more past their payments than ours!
After they quoted like 4 different payoff prices, they finally looked up the account and probably fudged the numbers anyway.
This company is DIRTY. DO NOT USE. Not to mention that the repo company they used hooked up my car to the tow truck, drove it around the corner, then unhooked it, had his wife hop in and drive it an hour back to their tow yard. Yes, we saw this happen and our almost full gas tank was just about gone and the radio stations were tuned to Mexican radio (which we do not listen to) when we got it back. Great company as well. *eyeroll*
