Very friendly service by Sheila the owner. I can tell that she is a professional, talented and takes pride in what she does! They also have Carinderia style savory filipino food to enjoy for dine in or takeout. They have refrigerated food and grocery items to purchase. The ambiance has a very PINOY Carinderia feel which I love! I love this place and will drive a more than an hour just to enjoy Sheila's food and great service!

The dishes are already cooked, offered cafeteria style. They also carry a few racks of Filipino groceries. This is typical of one-stop Filipino food shops here in the U.S., if you can find them they are gems. This shop also offers coffee beans imported from the Philippines - light, smooth coffee with hints of chocolate. There is a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries from which to choose such as pandan or ube cake rolls, cassava cakes, traditional decorated yellow, chocolate, velvet cakes and cake slices, hopia, empanadas. They also offer ensaymada, a Filipino favorite. The sweet butter topping on the ensaymada was really good but the bread portion was a little dry, and not to mention they are pricey compared to other Filipino bakeries. Their pandesal (bread roll) is excellent - large, weighty but still fluffy, with a slight hint of sweetness - I could eat these all day long. The hot food selection has a variety of fish, chicken, beef, pork, pancit noodle, and vegetable dishes, including egg rolls, all of which is very authentic Filipino cooking. The two dishes we chose, the poachero and dinuguan, were fantastic. The selections change daily so now we can look forward to the availability and variety of Filipino carryout including the dessert!
