Phil and his team of trainers work with small groups so you get plenty of personal attention and instruction which I think is very important for strength training. To avoid injury and maximize the effectiveness Phil and gang make sure you do the exercises properly and form and function is stressed over how much weight can be lifted, rowed, curled or pulled. I love this because if you're like me and don't know how to plan a workout and what benefits you can expect from different exercises...no problem...it will all be explained and demonstrated to you before and during the workouts. In the 3 months since I joined I have seen the following results. 1. Vastly improved my core strength. This was my #1 objective and I can tell everyday I have the core strength I needed to avoid back pain and injuries doing other activities. 2. Leaner body. I've firmed up some problem areas and improved definition in my arms, back, chest and core. 3. More energy. After morning workouts I feel charged up and ready to go. I love knowing the hard part of the day is done and I got it done early and have he whole day in front of me feeling good about myself for having worked out. 4. Not a physical benefit but I've met awesome people I look forward to seeing three days a week at workouts. The instructors are friendly and very motivating including one that they have nick named The Velvet Hammer. Class sizes have been about 10 to 20 in size. Class times are generally morning and evening during weekdays and then more on weekends. Jen herself is great and very inviting to new members and committed to their goals. She is also happy to have people try a few classes for free to check it out so why not go for it. I have really enjoyed my classes there.

First off, let me start by saying that this gym is hands down the best gym I've ever been a part of. As someone who's gone to a crossfit gym before (in LA), I had some idea of what to expect. I knew what the communities often were like, and how WODs were typically programmed. This gym blew all of my expectations out of the water! Starting off, my boyfriend and I received multiple FREE one-on-one sessions with the owner of the gym, Danny, before we even took out a credit card or were asked for our emails. He took us through the different workouts, and trained us on our form for each one. He is personable, provides amazing feedback and tips for how to approach each exercise, and is an all-around awesome instructor. Another instructor, Chris, taught us all of the Olympic lifting styles (snatch, cleans, jerks), and I feel like I understand them better and my form is now much improved under his instruction. Everyone is friendly and nice at the gym, it's super welcoming. A good ratio of guys to girls. The community here is incredible and everyone is very motivated to do their best. Smaller gyms like this one definitely make you feel at home and a part of the team. The workout schedule is innovative and addresses all of the areas that are essential to performing well in the crossfit sessions.
