This business makes there own Beer, wine and alcohol products where the diversity of what they make is kind of amazing considering the footprint/size of their facility. Relative to the tastings, these are free of charge where customers are encouraged to tip instead to show their appreciation for what they have been served. Duriing our trip here we tasted numerous spirits to include their house made gin, rum, vodka, Brandy, Bourbon and various flavored moonshines. I thought the liquors with the exception of the Moonshines were just OK but the moonshines were surprisingly quite good. These 60 proof drinks come across like a liquor based on the alcohol by volume content with a similar creamy texture. The flavor profiles are quite unique to anything I have ever tasted before where their flavors include Grandma's Apple Pie, Salted Caramel, Orange Slice and Lemon Drop shine to name just some of them. Every Moonshine bottle we tasted was so tasty where I was really enamored with all of them and at the end of the day ended up buying the Lemon Drop and salted Caramel although it was hard to stop at just these two. Relative to the facility it has a non descript outer view where the inside comes across more of a typical bar venue more so than a winery/distillery which is a bit deceiving in my mind considering how much product they make here. No stacked wine barrels or a sneak peak of the Distillery or Barrel rooms to reinforce what this business is and add the cute ambiance you get at many of the wineries I visit. Relative to Staff, They were exceptionally friendly and good on the repours for our free tasting which definately added a lot to our tasting event. Overall a very pleasant time was had by our group where I see myself returning again in the future and sampling their other ware's and probably buying more moonshine!

My Husband's mother passed away in April and we needed a place for the Celebration of life. My…read morehusband checked the website for Greystone Ale house and attempted to use the online reservation for a large party. Every April single date appeared to be booked so he called the restaurant. He spoke with a staff member and asked if the restaurant was completely booked. Staff said no, the app was not working. My husband outlined what he wanted and thought he was set. No one called to confirm or to set up the menu. We stopped in person to see the space and confirm the reservation. We sat at the bar and asked for the manager. We spoke with a manager and were told there was an incomplete reservation that nobody followed up on, with only a first name and no number. She then grabbed a lap top and asked the customer next to my husband to move over and squished her way between the two. Of course there was no privacy with the arrangement plans. The room we were to rent was unoccupied and would have been more private and just a few steps away. There were multiple issues the day of the event. We did not have a dedicated server. A group of 25 people should have a server dedicated to that group only, since the bill was over $800 with a mandatory 18% tip. The server did not remove drink glasses from the table or ask if family needed another drink. Family had go to the bar to get another drink. The food was served buffet style. We were missing barbecue sauces for the meat that was dry. We used the bake beans as barque sauce. We were also missing the coleslaw and potato salad. After a while the family began complaining that the food wasn't hot. Server had been absent some time so we went out looking for her and found that she was working other tables. We sought out the manager and told her of the complaints and the servers absence. Most everyone was done eating the lukewarm BBQ food without BBQ sauce when the server came in apologizing for not reading the menu for the party and the missing food. She brought in the BBQ sauces and left without removing dishes on the tables or offering to get more drinks. The manager brought in potato salad but the coleslaw was never brought even though I asked as she was leaving the room. Our recommendation to anybody seeking a venue for a party or group, do not use this one.

They have ample bar seating and table seating. Decent amount of parking. The elevator right when you enter takes you down to the bathroom, I didn't use them so I'm not sure on cleanliness. The actual restaurant itself was very clean. Service: They have a method set up where you have multiple people assisting you throughout the entire experience. Someone to bring waters, someone to take your order and bring the check, people to bring out food. Everyone was friendly and we had our water glasses refilled once. Food: The food was okay. I'm really torn on the experience because some reviews said the food was over seasoned but ours was a weird mix. Appetizers- The cheese curds were so tiny (they were smaller than my thumb nail) that all you tasted was batter and salt. The lobster bisque was really over seasoned and it needed acid (fresh lemon wedge on the side would have been nice). It was super rich which is expected but it needed something to break it up. I think they tried doing that with the creme fraiche on top but it didn't work. Entrees- I had the lobster cobb salad and my partner had the lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were super tiny so they were still hungry when they left and there wasn't much flavor or filling. The french fries were decent, probably the best part of the meal. The lobster cobb salad was so bland. Whatever dressing they had on the lettuce tasted of just avocado, which doesn't have a lot of flavor. The lobster itself was sweet in flavor but the cooking of it felt off, it was stringy? I ended up leaving most of the salad on my plate. I'm thinking we just ordered the wrong items off of the menu based off of other reviews. But it's quite a long drive for us to come here so I can't see us going out of our way to come back.
