This charming old house now a…read moreretail store is one of those stores that you have to meander through slowly, just to see all that is there. The owner changes the store setup frequently and presents a mixture of items (old and new pieces) which means there is always something new to see. And cute ideas. Certainly worth a trip into town. :) There's a smaller location at the Rustic in Rockwall, TX if you are in that area. P.S. I did not receive product for this review! Ha ha!

I'll start by saying that my very goal was to give my father in law a special gift. Something you couldn't get anywhere else. After hearing stories of his childhood, and some of the things that meant something to him as a child, I looked to recreate an old sign in glass. Fortunately, Facebook pointed me to Groovy Moon Glass, and the owner Nicole, who happens to have her storefront right there in my hometown. I started by reaching out to Groovy Moon Glass through Facebook, and telling Nicole what I was looking for. She had great vision - from my ideas she crafted a design that was even better than I had imagined. She also had an amazing knowledge of what size I would need to really make the details pop. The finished product - beautiful! Hanging in the window, the light shines through and it really catches the eye. Truly, it's a centerpiece that my father in law absolutely loves. I had it shipped directly to him in Colorado. I haven't done this (yet!) But she makes incredible portraits of people's pets, and everyone raves about how great those are as gifts. That will be my next purchase! Something they do that I also have not taken advantage of - classes in store! Check out her Facebook for pics of the kids classes, which look super great. There's nothing like a custom piece, but keep in mind - custom items take time and don't always come cheap. Believe me, though, you get something more valuable than what you pay - a piece that is one of a kind, and absolutely sure to be something that the recipient, or you, treasure forever. I'm so glad I found Groovy Moon Glass, thankful for Nicole's talent, and even more grateful that this place is in my hometown making it a better place.

APET is located on hwy 69 as one enters from Lindale just before hwy 80 in MIneola. All the proceeds go toward maintaining their cat and dog shelter located off hwy 80. I try to stop whenever I am in Mineola. If you and a friend decide to go, there are several places to have lunch in and around downtown. Take a right on 80 and travel 1/2 mile to Logans - all kinds of cuisine or burgers - go left on 80 and its one business down on your right (East Texas Burger)..then shop til your car is full at APET. Check for their current hours as small towns aren't known to keep late hours.

The sales lady advised that the product needed to be orderd - ok, I get it. I had to constantly call them, they NEVER ONCE called me to advise of status - very poor customer service!!! At 4 weeks I recvd all but my 4 nightstands. We are now at 6 weeks and I still do not have them. The lady tried to blame it on Coronavirus. Uhhh No! The truckers are still hauling goods - that hasn't stopped. I advised if I dont recv the nightstands the 1st part of April, I want a refund. NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED FOR THE POOR COMMUNICATION! The store had no problem taking my $3,000 check! I will NEVER EVER purchase another item from this retailer. IF YOU HAVE MONTHS, SHOP THERE. IF NOT, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Not sure what anyone could say this isn't positive. I think they are awesome. I called today and the associate helped me with everything I needed right from the phone. Great customer service and excellent communication. Then and if you are creating a BOM, you have to know what you are doing so complaints flummox me. It's independent AND they have a phone to call, FB to ask, and go to YouTube too. Then, looking for BOMs to do, they have the most interesting. The value is good and on par with other BOM onliners. I just think theirs are better, not old lady stuff (BTW I am an old lady). If you could choose any online, this is the one to choose. Thanks Sitchin' Heaven.

Emailed numerous times and finally after 5 months got a return email saying they didn't know I was having a problem. Would be willing to return money for block paid for but not received if I would give them my credit card number. I didn't want to do that at this point. I just don't trust them. They gave me a coupon for a discount but coupon was dated to expire day before I got it, so no use to me. Have not received money back from block I was charged for but didn't receive, They could send a check but haven't. Will not deal with them ever again. This project was over 100.00 per month so I have over 200.00 init now and am extremely unhappy.
