I recently purchased a policy from Farmers through Aaron Thach office. I worked with Catalina…read moreGargollo in the office and she's great! Catalina took the time to answer every single question I raised and captured the answers in emails so we have an audit trail. Throughout, she acted professionally, patiently, and provided excellent customer service surpassing my expectation! A couple times I called the office when there was no one to answer, likely everyone was busy. Shortly after, Aaron himself would call back to follow up which is rare. In summary, I would highly recommend Aaron and his staffs for any future insurance needs. Their level of service is a special among many.

I emailed them on July 25 and finally got a response a month later on August 24. Communication is painfully slow and makes you feel like you're not a priority. On top of that, the rates keep increasing. My premium has gone up approximately 15% every six months, which is ridiculous considering how poor the customer service has been. I understand that insurance rates can change, but consistently increasing premiums while taking weeks to respond to customers is unacceptable. If you're paying more and more, you should at least be able to expect timely and reliable communication. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the customer service and the continued rate increases.

We were assigned to someone else, but our previous guy highly recommended Tiffany and we switched to her. They are prompt and friendly with every question I send to them. Tiffany herself and I have a call at least once a year to go over our situation and insurance needs and change things, whether up or down, as is appropriate. I don't think you will find anyone better in the Bay Area.

Overall, my experience with Tiffany's office was positive at first. Their rates were more…read moreaffordable than many other insurance companies, communication was good, and the process was smooth. Unfortunately, that changed when it came time for my renewal. My premium increased by about 60%, despite the fact that I had a clean driving record with no accidents, tickets, or points on my license. The increase seemed excessive, and the only alternatives offered were to significantly reduce my coverage to lower the premium. For me, that wasn't a practical solution. If I'm paying for insurance, I want coverage that will actually protect me when I need it. I understand that this was something that occurred with State Farm across the board. However, I still believe the local office bears some responsibility for how it was handled. I received an email notifying me that my premium would increase substantially and was told to call or email if I wanted to make adjustments to my policy. The new premium would have been about one and a half times my monthly car payment. I had been with State Farm for several years in the past and had been back with them for another year or two, so this was especially disappointing given that I had no at-fault accidents, tickets, points, or any other issues on my driving record. The explanation I was given was that the increase was due, in part, to false claims being filed by other people. In my opinion, if State Farm fails to accurately anticipate the cost of doing business or fails to adequately investigate the validity of claims before paying them, those are business failures--not consumer failures. I don't believe customers with clean driving records should be expected to absorb the cost of those shortcomings through dramatic premium increases. Because of the substantial rate increase and the lack of reasonable options to maintain adequate coverage, I ultimately decided to switch to another insurer.

I first came to Len last year looking for business Insurance…read more Len took time to learn about me, my business and my unique needs and wants. He actually told me the other insurance offer was a more appropriate offer for us at that time. He also educated me on certain things I should look for or great questions to ask any insurance agent. It was obvious he had my best long term interest as first priority. Guess what? When my insurance was expired, I went to see Len. He is also a really interesting and well-read guy to speak to.

Really gotta say it, DO NOT GO HERE. Been with them for a…read morewhile now, and mostly just because of a referral. We've always paid a decent price, and really have never had an issue. Aside from noticing that they seem to skimp when dealing with tow companies. Like every time we've needed a tow it has been an absolute nightmare, including 4 hour average wait times. But the real reason for my review is the following: we recently added a new car to our policy and it shot up from $250/mo range to $650/mo. Now I was not advised of this until it was too late and my autopay had gone through. And this is because they were all off for like 3 weeks for the holidays. Now first of all, who is going to pay $7500/yr for auto insurance ? Secondly though, how can you not advise a client of this increase ? If you have time to issue the policy, find the time to reply to emails and give a price. And why would we, a family with homeowners, umbrella, and already 3 cars insured, have to pay this much/mo ? No claims, nothing. And the real kicker is that we can't be reimbursed because we don't have evidence of other insurance going back to that time ? Seriously ? They are simply not taking care of their clients. Don't go here. A consolation, Simone ended up helping us out and at least left a decent note on the experience.
