Marc has been providing me with great coverage for many years. I go through many motorcycles per year and getting them covered is never a hassle and Marc is always there. Let me start by saying, the service Marc provides is exceptional. I have been a customer of his for probably 6 years and refuse to leave. Initially I chose him for the lowest insurance offer and I have stayed with him through 3 different cities and 4 moves. When I initially moved from SD to LA, he helped me with the transition and the EXTREME raise in insurance prices. He walked me through options to lower my premium cost that would still be safe. I then had 2 accidents to my car with in a week (no wonder there are higher insurance costs there) then I had a wreck in the rental vehicle. I called Marc crying on the phone worried they would drop me as a customer, but he walked me through the process and what to expect moving forward. He continued to follow up with me as the days/weeks went by. I was SO thankful for his knowledge, experience, and integrity. Was looking for quotes on car, home and rental property insurance and Marc was awesome. He took a look at my current policy and went over in detail what coverage I was both lacking and over paying for. I have no idea why he is getting 5 star reviews. First, when I called the office I was told if I send him an email he would respond faster. I sent him an email in hopes he would call and discuss things with me, but Heather called to get more information. After awhile, once again Heather, not Marc, sends me an email asking for more information. I am fine giving more information because I am searching for the right company who is personable with the right quote, but I didn't understand why Marc wasn't dealing with me and having another agent do it. After I replied with my car information, I got another email from Heather and she said the the quote is more than what I'm paying now but did not actually send me any numbers. I was told Marc would go over everything then work with me and give me quotes but none of that happened. No thank you to Farmers, at least here, on all accounts! This review has nothing to do with Heather, she was just doing what Marc was telling her to do. It's because I reached out to Marc, but he was too busy for me I guess. I felt like I wasn't important enough. Also, I was expecting to actually see quotes not just be told it's higher then what I'm paying now and that's it. Marc, if someone asks for you especially then you should be the one talking and emailing with that person. That's how you build rapport. Because of this experience, I realized you're not the right agent for me. I've never had an agent have me deal with another agent. My review is not because you said it was higher, it's because of the overall experience. However, I will thank Heather since she did step up to the plate. Also Marc, the email you sent me this morning was unprofessional: I did not belittle your team and I will gladly look elsewhere. Marc is my agent for business property and for my motorcycle insurance. I am a contractor and have been robbed a few times, and trying to work with no tools is a terrible experience. I have had other insurances, and each time I was robbed there was always some reason it wasn't covered. I decided to go with Marc for the business property insurance because I felt that I could go to his office and throw a fit if he tried to deny my claim, something I wished I could have done with my previous insurers. I know where his office is and I have a single point of contact with him, not a new agent at every phone call. After working with Marc, I highly doubt I will ever have to bust into his office screaming to get a claim taken care of. His responsiveness and integrity have proved otherwise to me. So much so, in fact, that when I replaced my motorcycle I used him to insure it. I got it on a Friday, and was going to pick it up Saturday morning.
