We've used this spot for a while and generally have a reasonably good experience. However tonight.... h0lysh!t. I arrived close to closing and some pink haired chick with an authority complex immediately told me "you have 5 mins to check out. If you haven't, you are out!" Ooooooook So I hit the kiosk (which decides to not work) then the counter. I explained to the lovely woman at the counter, the kiosk wasn't working to which said Miss attitude said, no no, I'll take you over here. I explained again the kiosk wasn't working and I was trying to get some sodas. The other girl asked which ones I'd like, to which pinky said "no he's not getting them" Wtf? Spent 200+ dollars on disposable pens had to turn back 30 minutes back and they say they sold me display ones...they say it happens a lot...

I've been going to Farmers Choice for some time now and have always felt welcomed by the Staff. I had recently gone in to make a purchase and Jordan who worked the register that day had informed me of some deals of the day that would benefit me (he revamped my whole order saved me a ton of money). I would also like to thank Brie/Brianna, Apurbo (and literally everyone) behind the counter and Dylan working the pharmacy for their hospitality and good attitude. It isn't easy to work customer service but if done right can make a world of a difference to the customer. I can't remember everyone's names, but I usually leave feeling better than when I arrived. The manager Brett/Bret also works the floor quite often and in my experience, thats always a good sign. He is very amiable as well. They have free popcorn sometimes (like today) and it's phenomenal. I've been to the recreational dispensaries in Beacon, Newburgh, Fishkill, and Wappingers, and Farmers Choice is definitely the best! I go there once every couple of weeks, and the product and customer service are always great. They have a wide range of products, as well as grow equipment and seeds. I always leave there smiling because the people are so helpful and cool. They also have lots of pop-ups; I've left there with some good swag (t-shirts, lighters, rolling kits, and samples of both flower and gummies). If you like cannabis beverages (which I do), they have the biggest selection in the area. They even have free popcorn and popsicles you can grab on your way out. TERRIBLE service. I would recommend any other dispensary in Hudson valley besides this one. I came in on a Saturday morning awaiting a pickup order. Keep in mind I've been a loyal customer since they opened. I'm waiting in line for a PICKUP ORDER that has been PRE ORDERED and says that it's ready. After waiting in line they take another gentleman waiting BEHIND me for his NON pick up order. I was in disbelief. So I walked out. Will never shop here again and I will make sure no one else does. Wayyyy too many dispensaries in the area now to have such terrible customer service. read more

So many options for flower, oils, edibles, prerolls, resin...too many for me I was overwhelmed! the things I wanted they were out of stock of all of it, so I just had them make suggestions of something similar in the same doseage which the rep in the back where they keep it all locked up knew everything well. He made great recommendations! The pre rolls I got hit like nothing ever hit before that I got from the smoke shop across the street next to the Red Line Diner. Idk what I was smoking before but it wasn't high quality. These pre-rolls are sooooo smooth. I've always had to pull a hard drag on other ones from smoke shops in FL and NY, and the smoke was always brownish tint to it and hurt my lungs. The ones I got from Farmers choice the other day didn't hurt my lungs and the smoke was white and thick without any effort on the drag. Super smooth, potent and highly recommend. read more

The service is great, as is the selection, it's the prices that I have an issue with. They carry very little of any of the cheaper but decent quality bud, the cheapest 1/8th you'll get there is usually over $40, and for that price your lucky if you find a strain as high as 30% thc. Other Dispo's in the area are much cheaper than this one, that's my only gripe with it. If you have $60 to spend on a good 1/8 (they literally sell strains with like 23% THC for $50-60 there....it's insane smh), then it's worth it, but I was getting the same quality bud black market for $20 an eighth before I started shopping at dispensaries, for me Black Market has the best prices (Leal StankBreath 1/8th= $20 cash, tax included there. Here, they only have like one type of Leal (one of the cheapest, yet more potent, brands in the NY market, they have some crap strains, but their StankBreath at 32+% and Thin mintz Gsc at like 30.50 I think, not h pack a nice punch, yet whereas you can pay just straight up $20 in cash for like 10 different strains at Black Market Cannabis, Here it will cost you $26 + tax, and then they usually have only one type of 1/8 (usually crappy, around 25% thc when Leal has multiple better products that reach up to 34% thc.....), then they have like one strain for a quarter, and their best strains, StankBreath (32-34% thc) they only sell in ounces there, smh. Everyone isn't rich, I can't afford to pay $60 for a decent eight that I can get in Poughkeepsie for $20 cash, js...but they do have good products here. And their special are usually great (Tuesday the SUPERFIRE infused Prerolls (up to about 38% thc) are bogo, and weigh 1.2 gram for a $15 preroll, so I usually grab 4.8 grams (I break the prerolls down and smoke out of a bowl) of 37-38% bud on Tuesdays for $30 + tax, which is great I'll admit that all day. I just wish they would carry some of the more cheaper, yet potent, brands that other dispensaries do and to drop their prices a little bit on their stuff....they do have some cheap edibles too with the Gron Mini chocolate bars being 100mg for $14, and the 1906 Boost thc pills 100mg (20 pills at 5mg a piece),which are fast acting (they bypass the liver so kick in in like a half-hour), though truthfully they didn't do much for me, but they were amazing for my Fiances CRPS pain, even at just 15-20mg. read more
