Two stars for selection. I've never had a good experience here. Not only are they ripping people off with many of their products that are marked up as much as 5x-8x (many are not), the owner and his and the other employee are more aggressive than used car salesmen. That's not hyperbole. Twice have I looked at something giving no indication I'd buy, and they're already ringing me up. Out of their many shameful practices, they flat out lie about things for no reason. It must be pathological. For example, they've told me if I don't buy certain products that they carry from an "authorized dealer" the warranty is void. Perhaps with some things, but not the items they were claiming. If they don't have a competing product, they'll lie and say they don't carry it because they're not good products, even dangerous, claiming exploding batteries on particular vaporizers they may not carry. Not true with the products I inquired about. New York is also a CBD state. Sure it's very overpriced (less than half price across the river for CBD) but when talking to an employee about the laws he lied to me (for no reason) claiming that CBD is nor federally classified as Schedule I, and neve has been. Complete lie. While it has no business being Schedule I, I don't appreciate being lied to especially for no reason. Myself and several of my friends will browse in there, and would like to support a local business, but not a willfully dishonest business. Go two doors down or go to Newburgh or better yet, shop online if you want to pay MSRP, and not MSRP plus their rent. read more

Went here tonight for the first time after reading all of the great reviews on yelp and Google... I am very new to vaping and purchased my first device online without doing much research. I couldn't really figure out what I was doing with it and instead of damaging it decided I would check out my local shop, learn more about what kind of juice I need and find a regular spot to purchase it. We were helped fairly quickly, the shop was clean and everything was very well lit and organized. The younger guy there really knew his shit and was able to help us. Unfortunately, I can't give them a 5 star review because despite all of that, I was not given 5 star service. The older guy there was pretty rude. Even after I bought juice he seemed offended that I came in seeking information and help with vaping just because I didn't purchase my vape from him. He told me that since they sell them, he really shouldn't be showing me how to use mine because I didn't buy it there and that service is reserved for people who buy it from them. I guess buying juice doesn't count? :/ he also pestered me multiple times to write an online review for the shop. So here it is. I liked a lot of things about this place but I'm not sure if I will go back any time soon... This guy's reaction to me and my quest for help with this new venture just made me feel like an asshole. Amazing customer service even though I was far from the delightful customer that I normally am. I was given training on how to use my new vaping device that I was clueless about when I walked in the door, now I can do quite a few things with it in addition to smoking out of it. Grant and Evan were amazing and ensured I can not only use my vaping device effectively but also safely. They were more interested in selling me a device that fit my needs rather than the most expensive one. Even if you have to travel an hour or more to get to this store it's 100% worth it. It's directly across the street from Key Foods on Main Street in Beacon so it's even easy to find in addition to everything else positive about it which is pretty much everythng. I've been to a couple of vape shops, but never really settled on buying one. I decided to check out these guys because they were convenient, close, and open until 9 on a Sunday. I had no idea what to ask for, but told Evan what I would use it for, what I had in mind, and he hooked me up. He matched me up with an appropriate juice, even asked what flavors I had in mind first (their selection is huge so this made it much easier). Prices were competitive for other shops in the region, great selection of goodies, and for sure you cannot beat that customer service! And if you're thinking of trying kratom or CBD - or just want a better place to get supplies - you should try Smokers Mecca. The only vape shop I have ever been too where the employees were told to not vape in because they were scaring the customers coming in to buy glassware and other tobacco products. If you are going to sell vape supplies in a store that sells the items that people are trying to quit it just doesn't make much sense. I personally don't feel comfortable walking into a store that sells vape equipment on one side and glassware on the other side. When I walk into a vape shop I hope to see only vaping equipment. I understand this store is called smokers mecca but supporting vaping and tobacco products in the same store is a turn away factor for me. Prices are a little high but they do have a wide variety of juice for sale. I believe the owner of the store was smoking cigarettes in the store as people were browsing vape equipment which was a little off setting since I quit smoking and now hate the smell of it. 3 out of 5 due to the fact of atmosphere and the clash of tobacco and vape products. Still a good vape store selection wise but just not my expectation for a store that advertises vape equipment. read more

Big selection of juices. Awesome buy 2 get 1 free deals. Hardware like every other vape shop is high but I understand for cost of overhead. But I still check online for price difference first.
