They make you pull around to the front to wait for your food just so that they get the points for getting you out of their drive thru in the correct amount of time. While really you're waiting forever in the parking lot for your food . And by the time you get your food your drinks are watered down and they have forgotten about all of the condiments you requested. I bought 2 breakfast burritos with bacon tonight ---1 for now and the other for tomorrow. I opened one and began eating it. It was hard, dry, and tasteless. The "bacon" was the texture of Jerkey!! It did not taste like bacon! There was no cheese and the "eggs" were tasteless and cooked to the point they were rubbery. I added lots of salsa, but the salsa was lacking any juice so it did nothing to help the taste. I ended up throwing both burritos in the trash. $23.20 in the trash!! It's a decent burger joint. They also serve breakfast. Everybody was friendly, and service was a bit slow. We tried the burgers which had fresh lettuce and tomatoes. They offer some breakfast options as well as burgers and more if interested in lunch or dinner. Location offers a drive they as well if you don't want to head inside. We came for breakfast. They have a few omelette options with hash browns and toast. I opted for the California omelette by itself. While my brother in law had the full Denver omelette meal. Good thing I ordered the omelette itself because it was so much food. My dad had a burger and my sis the fruit and breakfast sandwich. We were given a number and waited our food to be brought out. The lobby was clean and service great. It is a very busy location with it being so close to the freeway and hotels. Food came out pretty quick. Hard to sum this one up...I give it a 2 1/2 stars overall. Driving back from Cali to Vegas, a stop was needed for some restroom relief. Being a bit hungry as well, we decided to take a rest for something to eat. We usually end up at the Golden Corral in the same vicinity, but this time we decided to give Farmer Boys a go. Really, meh. Not that bad, but not that great. I appreciate the fact that their burgers are 'award winning' but where was this contest held? I just didn't get my burger as being that spectacular. Honestly I think I may have preferred some little Mom & Pop burger stand over the Farmer. Sorry, boys. I had 'The Natural' 1/3 lb. Cheeseburger with all the fixins - lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and house made 1000 island dressing. It was pretty good, just not great. Bun was supple, and the veggies were fresh. The meat for me was underflavored, don't think I got enough seasoning on my patty when it was cooked. Plus, it looked a bit small for a 1/3 lb. But I guess that's the norm when the patty is that weight pre-cooked. I also wish the burger was closer to a medium-rare instead of the near well-done I got mine at. It left the burger on the dry side. Wifey had the Sourdough Chicken Avocado Sandwich. She said it was OK. Nothing special, but it wasn't horrible either. The sourdough was toasted nicely, and the fixins were fresh and crispy. The chicken was on the thin side, but the avocado was in good supply. Daughter had the Patty Melt on sourdough I believe instead of standard rye. Again, just an OK. There's not much to this sandwich, bread, meat, American cheese, grilled onions. Her patty was also overcooked to her liking leaving the sandwich wanting for more moisture. Really, just an average sandwich at best. Nicest part about Farmer Boys was the choice of with their combos, you can have half fries, and half of another one of their sides. We opted for half fries, half onion rings on one combo, and half fries, half crispy zucchini on the other combo. The fries, onion rings, and crispy zucchini were tasty. Thankfully the oil was on the newer side so everything tasted fresh fried. Onion rings were hot, golden brown, with nice crunch. The crispy zucchini were cooked well, warm on the inside and not soggy. Both were great with a side of cool ranch dressing. Prices here at Farmer Boys kinda stink for what you get. A combo will run you north of $9-10 depending on what you order. It's really pricey for what you get. I do understand we're in the middle of almost nowhere so prices will be inflated. But really? For around the same price of a combo, we could have just gone back to Golden Corral and eaten ANYTHING I wanted there, including those really KICK@$$ Angus cheeseburger sliders they offer for lunch. Seriously, a plate of four of those sliders and I'm in good eats mode. Wish I could give the Farmer Boys more credit, but I gotta send them out to pasture for now. read more

Worst breakfast burrito I have had. This has happened twice so I will not be back. I was there today and ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. When I got home and opened it I found it was the size of my palm. Really, for 9 bucks? The potatoes were like mashed potatoes.
