The soups are so good. You can taste the difference in homemade soup. It's amazing. Highly recommended.

Got the milk shake and donuts. The donuts are good and come out with plenty of glaze and chocolate. The milk shake was ok but not too bad.

Can you still recall the distinctive scent of a vintage metal lunchbox? And above all, do you truly appreciate a great cup of coffee? If so, this hidden gem is an absolute must-visit--whether you're just passing through or call the area home. Here, you'll find organic coffee beans freshly roasted by Alma Coffee Roasters, sourced straight from their family farms. As a black coffee purist myself, I can't recommend their pour-over enough (try the Passion roast--bold, nuanced, and exactly as coffee should be). Of course, if you prefer lattes, cappuccinos, or something more elaborate, the skilled baristas can craft whatever your heart desires. Don't rush your first visit. Pull up a chair, settle in, and let an episode of a beloved sitcom play in the background. Admire the vinyl records lining the walls, flip through the curated books on the shelves, or lose yourself in nostalgia amid the delightful collection of Muppet plushies scattered about. This is a heartfelt family-owned business, run with genuine passion and an unwavering focus on warm, attentive service. Every time I'm in town, I make a point to stop by--just to slow down, savor the moment, and recharge. You will too.

The shop itself is a decent size with both indoor and outdoor seating. Everything seemed clean with no dirty tables. The short line ( had two people ahead and one of them didn't order drinks) moved quickly, but it took almost 20 minutes to get my drink, even though it wasn't that busy and there was only one person ahead of me that ordered drinks. Turns out most of the delay was due to online orders. Call me old-fashioned, but I think customers standing right in front of you should be served first. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming it's clear they're just following the policies set by management. Despite the unnecessary wait, my Fireside Latte was excellent. As well as the expresso scone. I guess good things come to those who wait however I don't think I wait again .. it would have been nice if they had mentioned something. Hey sir place might look empty and you might think there is only one person ahead of you but your wrong we have xx drink orders ahead of you. The just ain't here right now.

First off the croissant themselves were old, stale and crumbly. Second, the chicken salad itself was sparse in the sandwich and to be all out honest very very bland, so much that even salt couldn't help it. I was sorely disappointed with these sandwiches. My husband did say the service was good but that was the only thing good. So all in all I spent $14.00 ($6.99 ea) on 2 croissants that really only equalled one sandwich and had absolutely no taste or flavor.

There have been many times I've asked for no whip and they still give it but whatever, who cares. We always order the frozen Tuscany Toffee and they ALWAYS hand me a different drink every time. Their topping for the drink differ depending on the day? I don't know. I order one today and I get this? No drizzle no toffee bits that should always come with the drink was not even in it. They said they would remake it, and then come out with a container of toffee pieces... okay... how are we supposed to put this in our now made drink? Okay. This place used to be really great. Be better please. This was kind of ridiculous.

I can see parking being an issue on days that all of the businesses are open. However, I arrived close to closing time and had no problem parking directly in front of the shop. When I entered I immediately appreciated the decor. It gives tropical rainforest vibes! When I appreciated the counter I was greeted. There were two staff present. The gentleman appears to be a more seasoned employee and the female appeared to be in training. After looking at the menu I opted for a pistachio latte with oat milk and empanadas. I was told that they would be closing shortly. I believe I had about 30 min prior to closing time. This was more than enjoy time for me to drink a drink and eat my food. As such, I opted to dine in. The empanadas came out first. They were not my style. The pastry part was more like a corn bread consistency. I am accustomed to to emphasis being more of a dough like consistency. Additionally they tasted like something you just pull out the freezer and warm up. I would not order them again. When the drink arrived I had to confirm it was pistachio because I saw chocolate everywhere. The staff immediately recalled that I did not want whole milk and told me he had to re- make my drink. When it arrived for the second time the presentation was the same- it looked like a chocolate drink and not pistachio. When I took a sip I was shocked to find chunks of pistachios in the drink. I had to drink and eat the drink- interesting concept. I will say that the coffee taste on its own may be okay- however, collectively I was not a fan of this drink. Overall I do not have the best experience with the food or drink from this spot. I do give kudos for the ambiance and the service!

Not in the staff but there are some minor interior issues which could be addressed. As the dining area and service areas are open plan you can easily see the duct tape doors to the dishwashers area is in dire need of repair versus patching. Also it is rather filthy along the edges. The wall a/c unit also needs to be completely cleaned as it appears to have some grime building up. Now for the biggest disappointment ... our food. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. All in all we will wait some before returning to try again at some point. Thank you to the wait staff for always having smiles and helping each other to keep us happy.
