WORST PHARMACY IN AMERICA!! A part of me feels I was racially discriminated !! It was quite obvious , the customer in front of me and the customer behind me were both African-American... and were treated like royalty! The courtesy and respect they were given was superb!! , but the service I received was not suitable for a dog. I've used this pharmacy for 20 years, but I will not ever send another prescription to this place!! The last three times I've used this pharmacy there has been an issue. I had some dental work done 3 weeks ago , it took two days to get my anabiotic's filled . Then I was given a prescription for pain meds after the operation and that prescription was not filled for another two days! I've been getting the runaround all day today about a prescription ! I called at 1:46 PM, the lady told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I go to the drive-through window at 2:15 PM and she tells me it will be ready around 3 PM. Then I receive a notification on my phone from the Kroger app that tells me my prescription is now ready for pick up! read more

Satisfaction Guaranteed When You Shop Delivery or FREE* Pickup With Kroger, you can shop your favorites online with confidence. You'll be 100% satisfied with your online order or we'll make it right. Guaranteed. That statement is far from correct. You did nothing to make things right. Instead, I was treated like a child by your customer service agent. I was questioned as to why I would file a complaint with HQ. I was specifically asked what I was going to say to HQ and had to talk her out of her name and employee number. No one tried to make things right when half of my order was missing. No one attempted to deliver my items - that were delivered by Kroger. No one attempted to set up an expedited delivery for later that night or in the morning. No one offered to pay for Instacart to deliver my items on the same day. At every turn it was I can't, or they won't and the only option is the refund. However, the refund won't arrive for 3-5 business days. So, unless I had an additional 80.00 in the bank, I would have to wait for the money to be refunded before I could reorder the food. It was not until I said I was going to contact HQ that the representative offered me a 15.00 coupon for my inconvenience. 15.00!!!???? After being put down because I called Imperial Margarine. After not receiving my items that I paid for. After not getting my items redelivered to me... 15.00???!!!!! After being chastised for wanting to cancel my boost membership because she said I was upset and should not be making these types of decisions when I am upset. 15.00????!!!! My next stop is the BBB because this is outrageous. read more

What has happened to Kroger in Dallas? Every time I shop there, I say I'm not going back! I am disabled and have to ride a scooter. Sometimes the scooters are charged and ready to go, but not always. When the scooters are returned to the store, whoever returns them should plug them in to recharge. It is very difficult to navigate through the store on a scooter with the narrow aisles, displays, and all the stuff in the aisles. Large personal shopper carts block the aisle, and vendors are putting their merchandise on the shelves. The personal shoppers can be so rude and usually ignore my request for help. Kroger shoppers are very helpful when I can't reach something. Who are they trying to fool with their claim of Low Everyday Prices? Today, 1/3/26, Folgers Decaf Coffee was $22.99 a canister, Kroger Purified Water 24 bottles has gone up, Kroger Brand Facial Tissue 4 pkg. has gone up again, Heinz 57 10 oz. bottle was $6.29 today, Dollar General has the same size for $2.50, Walmart has a 20 oz bottle for $6.29. Impossible to find a gallon of Milo Lemonade in the cooler, Kroger 1/2 gal. 2% Milk is usually not in the cooler; I have to ask for it. The cooler smells like sour milk. Kroger White Chocolate Mocha Coffee Creamer is getting hard to find lately. Watch the expiration dates on items, especially cottage cheese and sour cream. They don't always pull the out-of-date products quickly. Try to skip the ladies' restroom, it always needs cleaning, dirty commodes, and sometimes no paper towels. Does Kroger give the bag person any training on bagging groceries and "putting them in the customer's vehicle"? I've had canned goods put on top of fresh fruit, eggs put on the floor, and sodas put on top of them, and forget about letting them touch your bread or cookies. I put them in the front seat with me. Most of the cashiers are real sweethearts, friendly, and make me feel like I am a valuable customer. Customer service is always busy, but they have been nice to me. After reading this, I know you wonder why I still shop at Kroger. I wonder the same thing, probably going to find a new grocery store in the near future. Happy New Year. read more

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Kroger Pharmacy Service Complaint: Kroger Pharmacy 455 Nathan Dean Blvd, Dallas, GA 30132 Distant from my home--------1.2 mi Compliment: Kroger Pharmacy 8501 Hospital Dr, Douglasville, GA 30134 Distant from my home------------9.75 mi Dr. SAM was the best. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the service I received at the Kroger Pharmacy location( Complaint 455 Nathan Dean Blvd) above on 8/6/2025, address listed above. I have been a loyal Kroger customer for [30 years], but my recent experience was unacceptable and left me frustrated and dissatisfied. On August 6, 2025, at 10:15-10:30 AM, my doctor sent 2 prescriptions to be filled. I went to the pharmacy at 4:00 PM; the Pharmacy tech said they are not ready. I gave her the coupon below and asked what time it would be ready. My doctor called in about 4 hours earlier. She told me to come back within 15 minutes, and they would be ready. I waited an hour, went back to the Nathan Dean location, only to be told we do not have the medicine, and I would need to transfer the prescription. I asked where? I thought they were giving me a new location, but nope. I needed to find my medication. I felt like it was poor customer service. So, I started calling around in my car. Found one location on eternal hold, called another Kroger said they were far, she did tell me the location Douglasville had about 200 pills, so they could help me. told me. I call the pharmacy in Douglasville, I describe exactly what happened--e.g., experienced an unreasonable delay in receiving my prescription, was treated with customer service, by Dr. Sam said I can fill it for you and find you a cheaper coupon. I drove there to pick up my prescriptions. He did apologize to me for having to drive there. I appreciated that as a customer. I am requesting that Kroger investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure it does not happen again. We are all human beings, and we make errors. Nevertheless, if you have not checked to see if you have the medicine in 6-7 hours, that's bad. Why not call another Kroger for me and let me know if they can fill my prescriptions since you tied up my day? read more

First time I had been back in this Kroger in sometime. And will probably be the last time very unorganized aisles. Many product still sitting in the aisles. Every checkout line was backed down through the shopping isles. When opening a milk cooler, the entire cooler smelt like sour milk not a very friendly family atmosphere anymore either very sad probably will not be going back. read more

I signed up for delivery service because I deal with arthritis. I am grateful but lately it's always something. One driver came to my house and left with the groceries, Im always missing an item and the last delivery, I received an expired item. I'm going to go in, take my time and shop myself from now on. read more

Let's start with what this Kroger gets right: it's huge, with a tremendous variety of products. Besides your usual groceries, they have a Starbucks, a sushi bar, an olive bar, and a larger-than-usual garden-and-patio section. As a brand, Kroger has been catching up with Publix on items like the ready-to-cook items (prepared products from the meat and seafood department that you just take home and toss in the oven) and their organic store brands, which they often promote with some good digital coupons. Clealiness can be lacking. At peak, busy times, the place can be less-than-appealing, especially the bathrooms. I needed to go, went into the bathroom, saw that the toilet seat covers were empty and the seats not worth sitting on. The general condition of the bathroom was less than appealing: paper towels on the floor, counter and mirror needing attention. Another turn-off to this Kroger is (ironically enough) its customers. It seems like it doesn't matter what time of day you go, the place is packed. Parking spaces are full, and it's full of customers who seem think they get special privileges: parking their car in the crosswalk area, getting out, and walking in for extended periods of time; customers who stop their cart in the middle of the aisle and either stand there or talk on their cell phones; customers who allow their kids to run around and move items or just be a little more playful than is probably necessary in an area like this. Or maybe this particular reviewer is just a snob. If you use BOGOs and digital coupons and their app, you can get better value for your money at Publix. If you want cheaper items straight off the shelf with no fuss, Kroger is the way to go, though their 5x digital coupons are a great value (accessed via their app and a linked Kroger card). I wouldn't necessarily turn anybody away, but just be aware of you have to look forward to if you go. The sticker prices at Kroger may be cheaper, but you're going to pay for that cheaper price one way or another. read more

This Kroger recently gained a star by adding a sushi, Chinese take out, cheese, olive, and soup counter. This store often runs out of produce and fresh herbs. You will also not find prime meat. It fills the basic needs for a families shopping. Also, the cashiers are wonderful. That department head is producing high quality customer service representatives. read more

Kroger - Grocery Near Me - Dallas, Georgia

This kroger is more dingy and dirty than most. Maybe it's just because it's older or maybe because management doesn't care. I've been here more than a dozen times and it's always the same experience. The people have been friendly and the prices are fair. Just wish they did more tidying up. read more

I placed an online order. I spent a great deal of money but I was supposed to get deals on everything. The next day when it was delivered, I discovered that I didn't get most of the sales, they made substitutions that i didn't approve and left items off. They refused to give me a refund and would only give me store credit. I placed another order, the total reflected the store credit and the shopper confirmed that my store credit was applied. I received the receipt today and checked my bank account, they didn't apply my store credit. I spent almost 40 mins talking to kroger customer service and they were absolutely unhelpful! They are essentially stealing from me and the only "help" they are offering is to talk to their IT department to find out what happened. Do NOT order from kroger unless you want them to steal from you! read more

I'm embarrassed that we still get our prescriptions filled at this place. Save yourself the aneurysm and stay away. Other than the slowest pharmacy I've ever been in, these folks are the biggest assholes you will ever meet. Doesnt seem to matter who the tech is, and they have been through dozens in the last few years, all are absolute jerks. The attitude no doubt is passed down from the head pharmacist. I wish I could Leave Less stars, but I had to choose 1...so I can review. This Is The WORST Pharmacy I have EVER Been to. They are very unprofessional!! Please go elsewhere, they don't deserve your business. If you care about your family, go to a different pharmacy. Anywhere else, but here! read more

Love that the staff is wearing masks and I see them cleaning often. Store has always been clean and neat and well stocked. Helpful staff members on the floor and they will ask you if you are finding everything all right. Will continue to shop here. Good prices and I love the Deli and Bakery. Pharmacy has the best prices for my meds and I will gladly drive 15 min to get them. Oh yes, and I love the savings on gas at their station. So glad to have Kroger's store and I recommend this store highly. read more

It's a good Kroger. Always have a good selection, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The sushi and Chinese bar is really great and conveniently, too. Their cheese selection is out of this world. Oh, and their strawberry crumble cake is a slice of heaven. read more

Worst, slowest, rudest pharmacy I've ever been to! I don't understand the rudeness?! There is no reason for it and forget them even answering a medication question, they have no idea! I had to google the generic brand for my sons inhaler because their answer was "I don't know" someone needs to start completely over with the entire staff!!!! Never will I go here again!! read more

Switched my grocery business to Ingles which is cleaner and less hectic. Recently this Kroger ran my check through twice and over charged my checking account. Pretty bad when Kroger starts borrowing money from their customers. They put back the money they took into my account a week later. I complained to management at the store. They didnt think it was a big deal. I called and talked with 6 people in a corporate run around. They finally put 30 cents fuel points on my card. Lame. read more

I spoke with the manager he looked annoyed that I was even speaking to him I was very polite about it I wasn't even finished talking and he walked off!! No apologies no nothing! I was appalled! No wonder they have expired stuff on the shelves and rotten produce I've had his problem before and I've given them another shot but I guess I'll have to shop elsewhere! I'd rather pay more than to buy spoiled food and support rude customer service! read more

Ga virus cases are climbing, deaths are climbing, yet the local ignorant rednecks stopped wearing mask mns ago although kroger and every other store in this area requires mask. Kroger has a sign, but mask are no longer enforced. Tonight I went to buy fresh cooked chicken and a deli sandwich. An emoyee was putting unpackaged food into containers, making sandwiches... with his mask pulled down under his chin. No gloves. Another employee in the bakery with his mask also pulled down under his chin, no gloves was leaning on the prep area. I told him to put on his mask. His excuse? No ones around. Mask had a valve. Told him they were a risk, still putting his breathing out into the air. Argued it had a filter. How ignorant and frightening. 95 % of shoppers weren't wearing mask either. Snaged a manager, he was unconcerned. This area? full of ignorant backward people. Frightening, but worse, grocery store employees stupidly pulling their mask under their chin while breathing on unprotected food. How are we supposed to eat safely?managent doesn't care. This is the worse case scenario. How many people have become sick due to this negligence? Am I overly concerned? Where lives are at stake? NO. Every little bit makes a difference between dead and alive. You want to decrease your chance of living just by buying food? Kroger in Dallas, Ga. Not Safe. read more

I am a regular customer of this Kroger I am literally there every day however I will NEVER return to this store again!!! The pharmacy is extremely rude and unprofessional! I will take my business elsewhere. I called the pharmacy to check on my prescription for strep throat and the girl that I spoke to said ya know what I'm gonna go ahead and get your prescription ready you called 25 times !!! Then she hung up on me!!! Yes that is exactly what happened unbelievable!!!! I called back and someone else answered the phone and I explained what happened and she put me on hold and came back to me and said she never said that!! Ok I'm deaf now I am so upset over this I will never be back to this store AGAIN read more

Been going here nearly 15 years and shop a handful of times a week. They finally have a sushi bar and a pick up only when you shop online. Pretty typical like any other grocery store when at times they run out of certain things or not so fresh veggies or fruit, but with this store for me it's rare. Never had any bad experiences with the employees. read more

It gets 2 stars only because it's close to my house. My main problem with this store is their clicklist. They messed up my order and didn't even bother to try to make it right. First and last time I'll ever be using that service at this location. read more

This might be a long one. First the minor negatives. I have only 4 stars because the manager is not the nicest. I have seen him give a couple of the merchandisers a hard time and he does not seem friendly to the employees. Also, there is a problem with homeless guys asking for money in the parking lot that I have addressed a couple of times. One even followed me to my car! So far no security or extra employees checking it out which I thought should have happened. HOWEVER, I have to say I have been impressed by the staff lately. Today my cashier, Cheryl, was and always is the nicest and super fast as well as efficient. The guy (I wish I would have gotten his name) who bagged my groceries was cheerful and offered to help me. The sweet lady at the self check out is always ready for anything and willing to help as well. It's never backed up thanks to her. The seafood manager, Travis, impressed me yesterday when I had a hard time (mostly my fault) getting my fish. I don't think I have been anywhere that has made shopping this easy and pleasant. The pharmacy is 100% better than they used to be. I actually wrote a bad review before but the past 6-7 months we have had to unfortunately use them quite a bit but not one problem and they are pretty fast, even with prior authorizations! Today I was told 2 hours which seems normal for lunchtime rush and I got a text in half that time that it was ready. read more

Always crowded, just not big enough for the area. At least they added a sushi and fine cheese bar.

Today is my daughter's 6th birthday. She wanted her favorite taco dip. So I went to Kroger to buy kroger brand turkey meat, brought 2 packs 1 big and 1 small wow. Cooked both packs, made plates for eveyone. Long story short when i fix my plate I smelt the meat 1st and realize I fixed everyone's plate with bad meat. 1st time I had a bad experience with this store hopefully the last. P.S. WHEN IT SAY WOW $3.29 DON'T BUY IT. read more

My favorite Kroger but I am biased because it is in my hometown. It is open 24/7, has a gas station and has plenty of parking. The staff is very nice. This Kroger was also my first job. The only times that I would say it's busy is during rush hour and all day on Sunday. During those times the line can get very long. It neighbors a Chinese restaurant, Little Caesars, a Mexican restaurant, a Goodwill donation center, Quick Trip, Wells Fargo, BB&T bank and Subway. read more

While I love shopping at Kroger, uploading coupons to my reward card, saving money at the pumps, etc., this particular Kroger leaves a lot to be desired. I'm glad they opened a Starbucks inside, though I've never gotten anything there, and the Sushi bar, which is pretty pricey, and they seem to want to be a superstore but the space just isn't there. My biggest complaint is they never seem to have the Free Friday Download item they offer online and if they do, it's very hard to find. Sometimes they have it at the front of the store but they are very inconsistent. Another major complaint is that it seems like Kroger employees are ALWAYS in the aisles taking inventory or restocking items. Can't this be done at a different time? I believe this Kroger is open 24 hours a day - can't they do this around 2-4am? The parking lot is horrible and it's a miracle people aren't run over every day, or cars aren't involved in more accidents. I have also experienced many cashiers and baggers talk to one another while ignoring the customer in line, including complaints about other workers, hours, shifts, etc. One day a man insisted on taking the buggy for me to my car and the entire time he was talking about how horrible it was to work for Kroger and how he couldn't wait to retire. Last complaint about this place is that there are SO MANY times the merchandise does NOT ring up with the correct price. I usually don't catch it till I'm home because I'm busy putting items on the belt while they are ringing them up. If it weren't for earning fuel points, I would not go here at all. read more

I love to shop at Kroger. U can shop for groceries, and drink a Starbucks Coffee all at the same time.

This location was good until it fell under new management. I've gotten home with moldy bread twice. Countless expired sell by or use by dates on products. And what is with that disgusting smell that lingers in the parking lot everyday? I live 3 miles from Kroger but now I drive 8 miles to Publix where I don't have to worry about purchasing expired food. read more
