This kroger is more dingy and dirty than most. Maybe it's just because it's older or maybe because management doesn't care. I've been here more than a dozen times and it's always the same experience. WORST PHARMACY IN AMERICA!! A part of me feels I was racially discriminated !! It was quite obvious , the customer in front of me and the customer behind me were both African-American... and were treated like royalty! The courtesy and respect they were given was superb!! , but the service I received was not suitable for a dog. I've used this pharmacy for 20 years, but I will not ever send another prescription to this place!! The last three times I've used this pharmacy there has been an issue. I had some dental work done 3 weeks ago , it took two days to get my anabiotic's filled . Then I was given a prescription for pain meds after the operation and that prescription was not filled for another two days! I've been getting the runaround all day today about a prescription ! I called at 1:46 PM, the lady told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I go to the drive-through window at 2:15 PM and she tells me it will be ready around 3 PM. Then I receive a notification on my phone from the Kroger app that tells me my prescription is now ready for pick up! read more

No one tried to make things right when half of my order was missing. No one attempted to deliver my items - that were delivered by Kroger. No one attempted to set up an expedited delivery for later that night or in the morning. No one offered to pay for Instacart to deliver my items on the same day. At every turn it was I can't, or they won't and the only option is the refund. However, the refund won't arrive for 3-5 business days. So, unless I had an additional 80.00 in the bank, I would have to wait for the money to be refunded before I could reorder the food. It was not until I said I was going to contact HQ that the representative offered me a 15.00 coupon for my inconvenience. 15.00!!!???? After being put down because I called Imperial Margarine. After not receiving my items that I paid for. After not getting my items redelivered to me... 15.00???!!!!! After being chastised for wanting to cancel my boost membership because she said I was upset and should not be making these types of decisions when I am upset. 15.00????!!!! What has happened to Kroger in Dallas? Every time I shop there, I say I'm not going back! I am disabled and have to ride a scooter. Sometimes the scooters are charged and ready to go, but not always. When the scooters are returned to the store, whoever returns them should plug them in to recharge. It is very difficult to navigate through the store on a scooter with the narrow aisles, displays, and all the stuff in the aisles. Large personal shopper carts block the aisle, and vendors are putting their merchandise on the shelves. The personal shoppers can be so rude and usually ignore my request for help. Kroger shoppers are very helpful when I can't reach something. Who are they trying to fool with their claim of Low Everyday Prices? Today, 1/3/26, Folgers Decaf Coffee was $22.99 a canister, Kroger Purified Water 24 bottles has gone up, Kroger Brand Facial Tissue 4 pkg. has gone up again, Heinz 57 10 oz. bottle was $6.29 today, Dollar General has the same size for $2.50, Walmart has a 20 oz bottle for $6.29. Impossible to find a gallon of Milo Lemonade in the cooler, Kroger 1/2 gal. 2% Milk is usually not in the cooler; I have to ask for it. The cooler smells like sour milk. Kroger White Chocolate Mocha Coffee Creamer is getting hard to find lately. Watch the expiration dates on items, especially cottage cheese and sour cream. They don't always pull the out-of-date products quickly. Try to skip the ladies' restroom, it always needs cleaning, dirty commodes, and sometimes no paper towels. Does Kroger give the bag person any training on bagging groceries and "putting them in the customer's vehicle"? I've had canned goods put on top of fresh fruit, eggs put on the floor, and sodas put on top of them, and forget about letting them touch your bread or cookies. I put them in the front seat with me. Most of the cashiers are real sweethearts, friendly, and make me feel like I am a valuable customer. Customer service is always busy, but they have been nice to me. Found one location on eternal hold, called another Kroger said they were far, she did tell me the location Douglasville had about 200 pills, so they could help me. told me. I call the pharmacy in Douglasville, I describe exactly what happened--e.g., experienced an unreasonable delay in receiving my prescription, was treated with customer service, by Dr. Sam said I can fill it for you and find you a cheaper coupon. I drove there to pick up my prescriptions. He did apologize to me for having to drive there. I appreciated that as a customer. I am requesting that Kroger investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure it does not happen again. We are all human beings, and we make errors. Nevertheless, if you have not checked to see if you have the medicine in 6-7 hours, that's bad. First time I had been back in this Kroger in sometime. And will probably be the last time very unorganized aisles. Many product still sitting in the aisles. Every checkout line was backed down through the shopping isles. Let's start with what this Kroger gets right: it's huge, with a tremendous variety of products. Besides your usual groceries, they have a Starbucks, a sushi bar, an olive bar, and a larger-than-usual garden-and-patio section. As a brand, Kroger has been catching up with Publix on items like the ready-to-cook items (prepared products from the meat and seafood department that you just take home and toss in the oven) and their organic store brands, which they often promote with some good digital coupons. Clealiness can be lacking. At peak, busy times, the place can be less-than-appealing, especially the bathrooms. I needed to go, went into the bathroom, saw that the toilet seat covers were empty and the seats not worth sitting on. The general condition of the bathroom was less than appealing: paper towels on the floor, counter and mirror needing attention. Another turn-off to this Kroger is (ironically enough) its customers. It seems like it doesn't matter what time of day you go, the place is packed. Parking spaces are full, and it's full of customers who seem think they get special privileges: parking their car in the crosswalk area, getting out, and walking in for extended periods of time; customers who stop their cart in the middle of the aisle and either stand there or talk on their cell phones; customers who allow their kids to run around and move items or just be a little more playful than is probably necessary in an area like this. Or maybe this particular reviewer is just a snob. If you use BOGOs and digital coupons and their app, you can get better value for your money at Publix. If you want cheaper items straight off the shelf with no fuss, Kroger is the way to go, though their 5x digital coupons are a great value (accessed via their app and a linked Kroger card). I wouldn't necessarily turn anybody away, but just be aware of you have to look forward to if you go. The sticker prices at Kroger may be cheaper, but you're going to pay for that cheaper price one way or another. read more

This Kroger recently gained a star by adding a sushi, Chinese take out, cheese, olive, and soup counter. This store often runs out of produce and fresh herbs. You will also not find prime meat. It fills the basic needs for a families shopping. Also, the cashiers are wonderful. That department head is producing high quality customer service representatives. read more

I placed an online order. I spent a great deal of money but I was supposed to get deals on everything. The next day when it was delivered, I discovered that I didn't get most of the sales, they made substitutions that i didn't approve and left items off. They refused to give me a refund and would only give me store credit. I placed another order, the total reflected the store credit and the shopper confirmed that my store credit was applied. I received the receipt today and checked my bank account, they didn't apply my store credit. I spent almost 40 mins talking to kroger customer service and they were absolutely unhelpful! They are essentially stealing from me and the only "help" they are offering is to talk to their IT department to find out what happened. Love that the staff is wearing masks and I see them cleaning often. Store has always been clean and neat and well stocked. Kroger has a sign, but mask are no longer enforced. Tonight I went to buy fresh cooked chicken and a deli sandwich. An emoyee was putting unpackaged food into containers, making sandwiches... with his mask pulled down under his chin. No gloves. Been going here nearly 15 years and shop a handful of times a week. They finally have a sushi bar and a pick up only when you shop online. Pretty typical like any other grocery store when at times they run out of certain things or not so fresh veggies or fruit, but with this store for me it's rare. This might be a long one. First the minor negatives. I have only 4 stars because the manager is not the nicest. I have seen him give a couple of the merchandisers a hard time and he does not seem friendly to the employees. Also, there is a problem with homeless guys asking for money in the parking lot that I have addressed a couple of times. One even followed me to my car! So far no security or extra employees checking it out which I thought should have happened. HOWEVER, I have to say I have been impressed by the staff lately. Today my cashier, Cheryl, was and always is the nicest and super fast as well as efficient. The guy (I wish I would have gotten his name) who bagged my groceries was cheerful and offered to help me. The sweet lady at the self check out is always ready for anything and willing to help as well. It's never backed up thanks to her. The seafood manager, Travis, impressed me yesterday when I had a hard time (mostly my fault) getting my fish. I don't think I have been anywhere that has made shopping this easy and pleasant. The pharmacy is 100% better than they used to be. I actually wrote a bad review before but the past 6-7 months we have had to unfortunately use them quite a bit but not one problem and they are pretty fast, even with prior authorizations! My favorite Kroger but I am biased because it is in my hometown. It is open 24/7, has a gas station and has plenty of parking. The staff is very nice. This Kroger was also my first job. The only times that I would say it's busy is during rush hour and all day on Sunday. During those times the line can get very long. While I love shopping at Kroger, uploading coupons to my reward card, saving money at the pumps, etc., this particular Kroger leaves a lot to be desired. I'm glad they opened a Starbucks inside, though I've never gotten anything there, and the Sushi bar, which is pretty pricey, and they seem to want to be a superstore but the space just isn't there. My biggest complaint is they never seem to have the Free Friday Download item they offer online and if they do, it's very hard to find. Sometimes they have it at the front of the store but they are very inconsistent. Another major complaint is that it seems like Kroger employees are ALWAYS in the aisles taking inventory or restocking items. Can't this be done at a different time? I believe this Kroger is open 24 hours a day - can't they do this around 2-4am? The parking lot is horrible and it's a miracle people aren't run over every day, or cars aren't involved in more accidents. I have also experienced many cashiers and baggers talk to one another while ignoring the customer in line, including complaints about other workers, hours, shifts, etc. One day a man insisted on taking the buggy for me to my car and the entire time he was talking about how horrible it was to work for Kroger and how he couldn't wait to retire. Last complaint about this place is that there are SO MANY times the merchandise does NOT ring up with the correct price. we moved here 3 years ago to dallas ga .. we had issues several times , when we came in around 7 pm or 8 pm ,with teenagers, talking to some friend 3 registers over while bagging our groceries,so annoying , told mgr and he said he would check it out , looked at my reciept , so to know which register im guessing,.when cashier asked 2 boys to come help bag they refused , said theres something they had to do while they stood at courtesy desk for another 10 minutes talking..so we started coming in in the mornings problem solved , every one is so friendly and helpful , mgr is real nice , pharmacy , is great at getting me text when meds are ready , store is very clean everyhing in its place and easy to find..baggers eager to help carry out groceries as i always spend over 300.00 each time i come , even in rain they have taken my stuff out and gladly put in car,,,fast friendly service,,,,,,I so hate the senior program discount was discontinued ,, it was helpful to save when you can..love the store ,easy to get to , easy to get in and out of parking lot, ty Kroger.... read more
