I was there today 9/6 at 4:30pm and the only guy in the department was so focused on closing his department that he obviously couldn't have cared less about three customers standing within 20 feet of him. He completely dismissed us. I have purchased steaks on a regular basis at Ingles in Rockmart. Drove across the street to Triangle and the guy there happily cut two fillets at my request.

Ingles in Rockmart is horrible. Employees are treated horribly (I have never worked there, only…read moreobserved). What has me concerned is that they have employees working food service when they're sick. It's unacceptable. My sandwich was being made this nice young man and I noticed he kept coughing and sniffling. I asked if he was okay and another employee said that he had been diagnosed with the flu and was still forced to work. I took my sandwich, of course and paid for it, it was not the man's fault. But I wasn't even able to eat it after knowing that. I honestly lost my appetite. The boys coworker said they have even had to work the DELI with COVID. I asked a different lady who the manager was and she said that she was not there at the time but her name was Brenda. Even federal guidelines say that sick individuals with contagious diseases should not be working while contagious. Two days later I got the flu. All because of Ingles. These people are being punished because of trying to be responsible. That is completely unfair to the employees and a danger to the public.

Once I was at the store, the pickup staff were unable to reverse the charges, directing me to the corporate 800 number. After spending 10 minutes navigating an unhelpful phone AI, I was told they couldn't assist me. I then had to track down the staff to retrieve the unwanted substitute items and go inside the store to Customer Service for the correction. The entire process, which is designed for convenience, took over 30 minutes to fix. The store and call-in support systems need to be drastically improved to allow for immediate corrections on-site.

My initial visit and review was on 6/26/21 where I found the exact same store conditions concerning both staff and inventory. I posted 20 something pictures that visit depicting the conditions. Today I needed a few things and decided I would visit here again, assuming that my first visit was just a one-off and things would be better and our new store would be humming along. WRONG! My visit today was exactly the same or worse in every way. Pictures document the deplorable lack of inventory. You can't sell what you don't have, right? And again there were only TWO employees in the whole store! Dollar General Corporate needs to WAKE THE HELL UP! HOW can you let this happen? PATHETIC and for me, never again.

This Dollar Tree in Rockmart is near North Piedmont Avenue and hwy 278 or Nathan Dean Parkway. Its next to a Rite Aid and to the far left there is a grocery store-Triangle Foods. Americold is doing these evil things to military veterans and to women, and some drivers are both vets and women. So SHAME ON YOU AMERICOLD!!!!!!!!!
