They were obviously more interested in trying to upsell a new furnace, rather than deal with the problem. It is an older furnace but not ready for replacement yet. He paid them their service and diagnostic fees and declined the repair. I did a little homework and called Luiken's. They returned my phone call Saturday morning and discussed the situation with me. I asked them if they could kindly get to the bottom of what was going on with the furnace. They assured me they would be there first thing Monday morning to give it a look. My son, with help from a long distance family member, was able to at least get the furnace operational. Luiken's showed up Monday and found an additional problem with the return ducting that was seriously affecting the efficiency and operations of the furnace.
