I had the misfortune to acquire some very serious dental issues but then I had the good fortune to find this establishment. Starting in July, 2024 and continuing to date, I have been treated by them with a caring, sympathetic and kind professionalism that can surely be the envy of all other such practitioners. I would like to name these individuals so they receive the Kudos they have earned: Front Desk Staff members Sivan & Ipsy, Financial Assistant Kimberly, Dr. Pari & Dr. Gill and finally, the best Oral Surgeon around, Dr. Oz. Combined, they turned what began as my Nightmare into a solvable, practical, remedial healing process which likely will last until I pass on to the Happy Hunting Grounds (I am 77). Lastly, anyone seeking a "Good" Dental Practice can instead discover a "Great" Dental Practice right here in El Cerrito Plaza, El Cerrito Ca. In my inquiries of December 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, and 29, the office replied that it has not received my dentist's referral or x-rays. Thereupon, after my inquiry on December 29, I emailed the office my copy of the referral and the X-rays. There was no word from the office during January 2026. Finally, on February 9, I made a final inquiry. The office replied that it has still not received my regular dentist's referral and x-rays, nor has the office acknowledged receiving my copy of the referral and x-rays. Why put up with this waiting? The specialist only has office space in this poorly run establishment, only a couple of days per month, and my list of PPO specialists is short. After almost two months of waiting, one must find and move on to other, but distant, specialists. This business totally sucks.

Only small gripe I had initially was after my first appointment when they got my address mixed up in their system and put in my former dentist's address in as my own. They saw me first thing the next morning to glue it back on. I can hardly believe I used to have a lot of fear about going to the dentist. At one point I needed to take Valium to go through with it. (I think two experiences contributed to that--when I was in HS, a dentist hit my nerve with his drill and I saw "Marathon Man," the classic thriller with Dustin Hoffman, which features a torture scene with a dentist and dental tools.
