My dog had a blast running around without us worrying about a messy cleanup afterward. The park also offers a few benches, which were perfect for relaxing while watching my pup play, and the agility features added an extra layer of fun for my four-legged friend. We visited in April, and I could already see that the trees will provide some nice shade in the summer, making it a great spot year-round. Overall, this park is a gem for dog owners looking for a clean, spacious, and well-equipped place to let their pets enjoy some off-leash time. Highly recommend!

It has a double gated entry, but the inside gate latch is missing so pretty useless right now. The fence is low, so if you have a jumper, they could probably jump it easily. One built in bench at the far end and two tables with benches near the entrance, but IMO might need more seating. It wasn't an issue the day I was here. We were the only ones in the dog area. It was an overcast day, but it seems like plenty of shade from large mature trees. There were buckets for water, but I didn't see a spigot anywhere. Restrooms nearby, but the children's playground mentioned in past reviews seems to have been removed. We really enjoyed our time here and we will return, but the amenities could definitely use improvement.

This was the second dog park on our dog park tour! We arrived around 10:00 AM with our puppies. I brought my 7-month-old pup, and my friend brought her 5-month-old boy, who was even smaller than my dog but much more outgoing and social. Overall, I'd give the park 3 stars. The park has separate areas for small and large dogs, which I really appreciated since both dogs are young and small. The small dog section was surprisingly spacious, with a mix of grass and pea gravel, plenty of shade from mature trees, poop bags available, and even a shaded kiddie pool area set up by some of the regulars. There were also lots of lawn and patio chairs, which made it comfortable for owners to sit and socialize. There seemed to be a group of regulars there, mostly in their late 50s to 70s, and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. All of the dogs we encountered were well-behaved and friendly too, which made for a great experience. It was fun seeing the difference in our puppies' personalities. My friend's pup was eager to meet everyone, while mine was a bit more reserved and preferred to explore. My biggest complaint is actually that the small dog area was almost too large. With a fast, energetic 7-month-old puppy, it was difficult to keep track of him at times. There are several heavily treed areas where dogs can disappear from view, and some spots were hard to access. While I appreciated all the shade, some of these areas felt a little overgrown and poorly maintained. The park also could use some additional upkeep. There were an agility obstacle, but it had standing water on it, and I noticed some dog poop that hadn't been picked up. Later, after the regulars left and we had the park to ourselves, we explored a picnic table near the back fence that sits behind a line of bushes. Unfortunately, we found several cigarette butts on the ground in that area. Overall, C-Bar-C Dog Park is a good neighborhood dog park, especially if you're looking for something convenient and close by. Since it's only a few minutes from my parents' house, I would definitely return, but I do wish the park was maintained a little better.

Never have had an issue with my American bully here unlike (I won't name) dog park in Grassvalley. People are friendly and clean up after their dogs mess the best they can. Of course we all get a little distracted petting others adorable dogs when there so someone it goes unnoticed when a dog drops something. Also the regulars will inform you of what dogs to watch out for that don't listen or that are very high energy and at times unmanageable. We appreciate that!

This was the first stop on our dog park tour! The park is tucked behind a residential neighborhood, so it feels a little hidden, but there was plenty of parking available, which was a nice surprise. One thing to know before visiting is that there are no separate small and large dog areas--everyone shares the same space. Fortunately, during our visit, both the dogs and owners were friendly and respectful, and all of the dogs seemed to get along well. My puppy was still very young at the time, so I had him wearing a muzzle. It wasn't because of aggression--he was simply in the phase where he would pick up anything he found and immediately swallow it instead of just carrying it around. Even with the muzzle on, the other owners were understanding, and everyone was very friendly. The park is primarily made up of pea gravel, with very little grass. When you first walk in, there's a small shaded area with a built-in bench, and someone had also left a lawn chair. On the opposite side of the park, there's another tree that provides shade with additional chairs nearby. Most of the park is a large open area covered in pea gravel, which gives dogs plenty of room to run around. All the way at the far end of the park, there are several agility features. I liked that they were designed to blend into the environment with faux stone finishes and landscaping that included river rocks. The park also had a watering station and even a dog wash station, which was a great amenity. One feature I especially appreciated was the opening in the fence near the entrance that allows you to easily drop filled poop bags directly into the trash can outside the fenced area. It's such a simple idea, but very convenient. The park appeared to be well maintained overall. I didn't notice any unpicked-up dog waste during our visit, which was nice to see. My only real complaint is the lack of grass. There was one particular tree that seemed to be every dog's favorite spot to stop and pee--I jokingly started calling it the "pee tree." The pea gravel around that area looked noticeably dirtier and murkier, and unfortunately my dog kept lying down there, which was a little frustrating. Overall, this was a nice dog park with friendly dogs, friendly owners, and some thoughtful amenities. If you don't mind a park that's mostly pea gravel and don't need separate small and large dog areas, it's definitely worth checking out.

It is made up of almost all hard surfaces like cements, sand, dirt. There were a few patchy spots but no real grass anywhere. It was sprinkling on and off during our visit and there is one bench that has a small cover over it so I was able to stay protected, however, the water and the sand kind of filled my shoes up with dirt and especially my dog's paws. Luckily they have a working dog wash here which is a huge bonus at a dog park. I also like how they cut a whole in the fence and have the garbage outside with a spot to reach through so you don't have to worry about the overwhelming stench of dog poo. There are a few benches, but it could use a few more and maybe some shade as well but they do have water available for both people and dogs. Someone left their car key and whoever found it was nice enough to tie it up to the gate, so if you left the key to your Honda here you might want to come and get it. I will definitely be stopping by this park again when we're in the area.
