We…read moreopened the gate and were greeted, as expected by other dogs and Riley was immediately attacked by one vicious chihuahua. We immediately turned around to leave and noticed the obvious owner waving with both arms to come back in. I'm not sure what the reason for that was, except maybe for me to apologize for not letting them "play" together. There are rules posted that everyone sees as they enter the park, and among them, aggressive dogs are to be removed immediately. This is one park we won't ever visit again. Be forewarned.

I am shocked that out of 11 reviews, this park currently has a 2.9 star rating. It deserves much better. This is a beautiful, well-maintained park that has walking paths, tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer fields, a dog park and more! There is plentiful parking and clean public restrooms as well. Many of the bad reviews are for the dog park and they are elitest and embarrassing. The dog park is a reasonable size, with an area for large dogs and a separate area for small dogs, PLUS an additional dog run area. There is plenty of space. There are so many ridiculous complaints in these reviews that I have second hand embarrassment for the authors. I mean there is actually a complaint that there was some mud and that dogs need "luxury". There are literally raised water bowls, benches and doggie bags provided. There is also a bench with an adorable dog sculpture. There was a hypothetical complaint that a dog "could" jump a fence but you shouldn't be bringing unruly, unsocialized dogs you cannot control or are unwilling to watch to a dog park anyway. Smh. We enjoyed the dog park, the people, the nature walk we did and we appreciated that when it started to get dark, the fields and facilities were well lit. There were lots of people and families enjoying this space so please don't let these terrible reviews sway you from stopping here. Any reasonable person would have a perfectly lovely time here. We certainly did.

It is very clean, the bark makes it easy to keep your dog clean, plenty of shade, spaced out benches, and dog poop bags and scoopers available. Park was pretty large aside from the dog area as well and appeared well maintained with adults hanging out and kids playing. I'll be back!

My dog had a blast running around without us worrying about a messy cleanup afterward. The park also offers a few benches, which were perfect for relaxing while watching my pup play, and the agility features added an extra layer of fun for my four-legged friend. We visited in April, and I could already see that the trees will provide some nice shade in the summer, making it a great spot year-round. This off leash area is fully fenced and double gated. Mature trees around and inside the fenced area. It's a single play area not split between larger and smaller dogs. It is clean, people seem to pick up after their pup, and the few times we've been here, it hasn't been crowded. Today, we brought our fur child and our fur grandchild to meet up with a friends fur child - they'll be spending some long hours together in the near future and need to get familiar with each others (butts) .. personalities. There were the three small dogs and then another few showed up .. all small dogs on this Sunday morning. One large lab appeared with his owner and small pup sibling. The surrounding park area (ball fields) are wide open spaces and if your pup is mindful and doesn't stray too far, you could have a full run of the park (but technically, that area is not off leash .. wink wink). We went to do my son's senior picture session with a local photographer. The session was in mid December and the scenery was just breathtaking! It was the perfect setting, close to home. There were other people out doing photo sessions in the park, too. There is a small parking lot as well as a small play area. Check it out.

Trail goes in a loop and most of it is paved. Easy to walk or push a stroller. There's also a playground for kids. When I was there, three photo shoots were happening. No surprise. The park looks great for pictures with the bridges and water behind you. Parking is the only problem. Small lot, and the park sits inside a neighborhood. Drive slow when looking for a spot. Good place to relax, walk, or take photos. I'll come back again.

Their parking is nice since it requires a little walk to the playground which is safer for little kids that like to running around since it's not so close with the playground. Playground is pretty good size and has lots of steps structure to play. The swing is not too close to playground more like few walks away. I personally like it better so when the kids playing swing is not too close to the one running around the playground is safer so they don't bump to the people playing swing. They also has water park.water park usually only open on summer time. They do have few picnic tables not much. So having big party in park probably this park is not so much table compared to harry crab park or granite bay area park. If u come early morning during cold season slides definitely is wet. Saw one homeless guy digging through the trash can walks around. As long is safe and clean this park is not bad too bring the kid to play.
