Very cute little park. There is a play structure, splash pad and plenty of grass to set up some nets and play soccer. There are 4 covered areas circling the splash pad so if you can land there, you're in good shape. There are two parking lots on either side of the park where you can park your vehicle and very kept and clean bathrooms by the softball field. I also noticed a good area for walking. Likely about a mile or so. I brought my son here on a Monday morning during summer vacation to run out some energy and have fun in the water. It's always a younger crowd of kiddos this time of day (10am-12pm) but he still has a blast and makes friends!

A great multi purpose park! Softball fields, water playground for the kids, picnic areas and a pretty good running path around the whole area! This park has always been really clean and well kept, even the bathroom area. A good amount of parking. A great park stop.

Nice park located next to a Lutheran church. Plenty of parking, lots of lush grass, room to play soccer, softball, baseball, etc. Cute little playground structure and they have swings too. But the main reason I like this park is because they have a great walking/running path that goes right next to a greenbelt area. The path is pretty wide and secluded from public, so it feels very private. Plenty of restrooms, and there's even free wi-fi at the park!

Came here to beat the heat and hopefully get the kids to nap. It was bumping - lots of kids here. The water has to repeatedly be turned on by rubbing the black top of the water hydrant but for some reason it wouldn't come back on for several minutes despite multiple people trying to turn it back on. Not cool when it's blazing hot but at least it turned back on. I wish there was even more shade...maybe with built in misters...and massage chairs...we can all dream.

Me and my wife work near by and we where looking for a park to walk during lunch time, this is the BEST park has an awesome 1 mile walking trail around the park. Be careful driving over the speed limit around the park, there will be officer parked on the motorcycle looking for drivers speeding.

Descent park; nice shaded picnic tables. Close to Oracle. The playground is a little exposed to the sun so it can be hot in the summer. Has a nice water park, but not sure if it is still working. It was a hot day, but the water wasn't flowing.

My daughter plays softball and this is her home field. There are 4 fields that are nicely maintained. The restrooms are clean, there are two snack bars and a nice playground. The park is set up to be a splash park but with the drought it has not been operational the last two years- I hope they can switch it to recycled water. Parking is pretty good especially if the church next door is not having an event- you can use their lot too. Nice running trail along the back of the park with many birds.

This park is a visual impact maker! If you can visit during BLOOM season, it is just breathtaking…read more I have shot family photo and senior portraits here, the are SO many wonderful backdrops, colors, textures. It is just a beautiful little park. Small enough to be intimate, and right next to the train tracks which makes for FUN and a super setting for photos. Spring and Fall the colors are amazing, but in summer, the roses ABOUND. I recommend taking a little walk through this old area, and just taking in its splendor.

This little park is one of the newest in Rocklin and features a covered picnic area, a few benches…read moreand a nice rose garden. The location of the park is exactly where the 1867 Rocklin Roundhouse was located when the transcontinental railroad was being constructed eastward into the Sierra. The park layout recreates the layout of the original roundhouse which included 25 engine stalls and a turntable. The rose garden is planted between railroad rails that have been placed to mimic where the steam engine stalls were once located. What happened to the original roundhouse? Well, early Rocklin suffered from numerous fires (one of the reasons that there are so few buildings left from the 1800's). The roundhouse burned down in 1869, was rebuilt, burned down again in 1873 destroying 10 steam engines. It was then used until about 1908 when operations were moved to Roseville. Within just a few years the roundhouse had become an eyesore and the city required the railroad to demolish it. A portion of the original granite rock wall from the roundhouse is still visible around the western side of the park. This park is just a portion of what will eventually become Rocklin's Heritage Park which will extend across Rocklin Road down Front Street. It will include the fully restored and historic St. Mary's Chapel as well as a recreation of the original 1900 fire house (currently under construction). If you are wondering where downtown Rocklin is located, this was the original heart of the city in the 1800's. It's nice to see that the history of this town is being honored with the construction of this park.
