We got lucky that nothing was taken, just a bummer to have to replace a window after doing something wholesome like taking our dog to a nature reserve. Otherwise this place is lovely. The trails are well maintained, the bike lanes are in good shape and clearly marked, and the reserve is clean. I love to take the long way around across the high levee because there is a little creek that runs by and it's just so pleasant to listen to as you walk.

I was only at the soccer fields on one end of the park, but the fields were ok. A lot of flies for whatever reason that day; however the fields were still greenish and healthy. No turf which is actually a nice thing sometimes. A lot of fencing off the area with only a few openings to the field which I get, but I wish they had stands or more shaded areas. I'm only ranking the soccer field and parking by them .

We went to do my son's senior picture session with a local photographer. The session was in mid December and the scenery was just breathtaking! It was the perfect setting, close to home. We opted for the $35 wristband, which was well worth it, he got to go on several different rides and hit the big slide multiple times.They had plenty of carnival games, vendors and food trucks. When it came time to grab a bite, my son picked Bubble Hive food truck. He got a waffle cone with vanilla ice cream and chocolate that was so big that we all ended up sharing it. Since it was Mother's Day, the beer garden and live music were a nice touch. They were serving mimosas, so my husband and I both grabbed one, since I was in the mood for something refreshing instead of beer. It was starting to get pretty hot out, so we only stayed for a couple of hours, but it was a fun outing and my son had a great time.

This park was such a hidden gem, not only do they have picnic benches all over the park, they have an area where people can reserve space with a ton of tables. Perfect for gatherings and celebrations. The park was well kept and green and they had areas to walk and equipment for kiddos to play on. There's another park across the street and I took notes during my visit to come back again with my dog to explore more. This park is off a one way street with homes on the other side of the road. There's a designated parking lot along with street parking, and there were signs that there was more parking down the road at the second park.
