First time trying Romanian food! So good!
    Desirée K. H.

My husband and I came here for the first time for the 2024 Romanian Festival. It was so fun and lively! Lots of music, dancing, and food vendors to choose from. We absolutely fell in love with the food and will be back next year. The park itself was nice. Big playground to keep the kids occupied; plenty of parking, shade and seating to enjoy your food right away. We're so glad we stumbled across this event and got to submerse ourselves in an unfamiliar culture. We'd love to see so much more of this and keep our palettes fresh and our perspectives open minded.

There's a lot of shade which is hard to come by in other neighborhoods. The castle park for little kids is kind of dirty and ran down. The bigger playground is nice. The area is a little undesirable but not horrible or too scary. I went out of my way to come to this park. It was nice but I'd only go again if I was in the area. There are picnic tables, swings for multiple abilities, handicap access ramps, tennis courts, a lot of shaded grass areas, and easy parking for free. I didn't see a bathroom.

On Sunday my mom, toddler and I attended the Romanian Festival here at the park and it was amazing, great music, a ballon artist, delicious homemade dishes, dancing and singing! My toddler loved playing on the playgrounds, if you haven't been here before, they have 2, including one that it looks like a castle! She had a blast, swinging, going down the slides, playing in the sand and just doing what she does best, learning while she plays! I would highly recommend visiting this park, they have so much to offer including a Children's Art Center, I would love to check out our next visit and a gorgeous view overlooking the water on the bridge! I know we'll definitely be back!

My daughter and I love this park. Theres so much to do as there are two parks on the location, one for smaller kids and then the other for over 5. A creek runs through it and its a nice place to take walks whether its on the bike trail or over the bridge. Its always clean and its in a small residential area by a one way street so you dont have to worry about traffic coming through. One of our favorite parks in Roseville. Great for families

I don't spend a lot of time in this park, but when I do, it's for the bridge. It's a great spot for some photos.. in fact, we took some first glance wedding photos here :) Beware tho, downtown Roseville has a lot of homeless people that roam around. I wouldn't hang out here at dark.

    Lots of mature trees!

I've been to Royer Park a few times now but have only walked around the edge of the park; have never stayed for any length of time to hangout. Why? Because they don't allow dogs. What park doesn't allow dogs?! There is a nice paved walkway around one side of the park bordering the creek, but the other side of the park on the street doesn't have a walkway. There is also a baseball field and a couple of soccer fields as well as a playground for kids. There are always a lot of people at the park for soccer or baseball games and a concert at the park on the weekends during the summer. I like all the mature trees shading the park as well as the variety of things to do. They have a small parking lot in back by the Veterans Hall and a lot of street parking. It's also an easy walk to downtown Roseville. I will definitely keep coming back to this park because it's connected to Saugstad Park by a tunnel under Douglas Blvd. and I like Saugstad because they are more dog friendly... They even have a dog park!

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and incredibly customer-focused. They made everything easy, allowing us to focus on hosting a meaningful event. And the food was truly outstanding. We hosted a breakfast buffet for our C-suite and senior leadership team, and every item was exceptional: the quiche, cinnamon rolls, breakfast enchiladas, bacon, and French toast were all absolutely delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend Randy Peters Catering. They not only delivered amazing food, but they also helped set a warm, positive tone for the day and enhanced the overall experience for everyone in attendance

The second was a beautiful grilled vegetable platter with asparagus, peppers, zucchini, squash, carrots and bread and crackers accompanied with hummus and ranch dip. The table was constantly replenished by Joseph, who also picked up plates and cups and kept the reception area nice and clean. He was an excellent server and very nice. Alan and Lindsay did an excellent job serving our drinks from the bar. The service was great and so was their food.

I was on the planning committee, and was happy we choose this venue. During set up, their staff was there to assist us with tables, table clothes, big displays, podiums, colored napkins to match our school colors and much more, all with good cheer and willingness. Their suggestions were very welcomed. The dinner was not just good, it was excellent. We offered attendees a choice of 5 different entrees, and each table was served all at the same time, and first table to last was under 5 minutes. Considering we were a big group (there were 107 of us) they serviced us well. They let us use their bar as a 'no host' bar, and the drinks were good and fairly priced. The food quality really was excellent. It was every bit as good as going to a fine restaurant and ordering off the menu. No one complained about anything, from the filet mignon to the squash ravioli. All of us were quite pleased. They even accommodated a few gluten-free meals and the like. The setting is also quite beautiful. They let us use their big patio right off the dining room for a memorial table and to hang out, and everybody commented on how nice the golf course looked. If you are in need of a nice venue, I would suggest you give them a buzz. Their Events Manager, Joel Chavez took good care of us.

Would have been very upset if I would have shown up with my family to have Mothers Day and turned away, especially coming form Southern CA. Maybe they should advise people who are representing this event, make it clear as to who is invited. The person I spoke to certainly did not. Maybe dodged a bullet though, person I spoke to initially said there was construction or something to that effect going on and it wasnt going to be in the regular clubhouse location.
