We enjoyed this venue. We found free parking in the lot although we were expecting to pay. There were several food trucks. There is a space for dancing up front and the speakers didn't blow out our eardrums. Next time is we are ear plugs though. The line for the bathrooms was long but the venue was nice and I'd come back again. Only thing I didn't like was some people brought high back chairs with absolutely no regard for those sitting behind them. read more

This park has a wonderful play area for an child that loves to climb and explore. The pros, beautiful setting. It's nestled next to a Park. I would recommend sun screen as there is little shade available. Also, as the sunsets the pond brought thousand of mosquitoes waiting to feast on their nearby victims. So bring long sleeves and citronella spray. The more challenging obstacle require a weight limit, which was disappointing because they don't post it prominently on their website, only by opening to purchase can one fine the very specific requirements. We discovered the requirements when we were paying admission it posted near the ticket booth. So unfortunately we were limited to the large climbing area for those under 70lbs. read more

This review is for the play ground park n the wood train area also the quarry park outside area. First of all this place has so many poop everywhere. I mean like every two steps u will see one or two poop. Duck walking around, I guess nice view with animal around but the poop is everywhere. The park itself is very nice place. If u go to the inside of the quarry park for the adventure they are probably clean. But the surrounding area outside is so dirty with lots of poop. I guess they can't control the ducks. This review is for the concert venue. The sound is amazing, grass is very green. Concrete area where you put chairs is clean. My suggestion is rising the stage up a little higher, whether the bacd members can stand on a risers or build the stage up another platform. That way, people who are sitting in chairs can still see, while people that want to stand in front dont completely block the view of the stage. The stage is almost level with the average height of a person. Almost no height to the stage. I love the small home town feel of the place! Will come back, but wont buy seats up front anymore. Went for a concert. Overall good experience. Just not sure it was 'worth' all the time to get there so early and wait in line to get in the fast line to get 'good' locations on the lawn, only then to wait an hour until the show started. I wld prob next time just go later and deal with whatever 'seats' we got. It's nice to bring beach chairs, otherwise you'll be on a picnic blanket or standing the whole time. When it's hot out, sitting as far to the right facing the ampitheater will be the most shaded / continue to get more shaded as the night continues. Ladies, if you're considering what to wear, I'm glad I chose a maxi dress as opposed to shorts, bc again with the seating arrangements and the heat. I felt bad for the musicians in the opening band they were staring right into the sun, so I guess if any of the musicians check reviews of venues then I would say wear your sunglasses!!! The venue seems 'strict' about you can bring one bottle of sealed water per person but they did not check that at all/ did not check my bag. I think it would be much more sustainable if they allowed and advertised that you can bring your own empty refillable water bottle. They do have one water fountain but could add a refill station. [pricey, of course] food trucks are accessible and alcoholic drink cans priced at $11 and $12. Three stall bathrooms and then port-a-potties for overflow traffic. Buy in advance $20 priority parking if you want that. Otherwise, we did fine in the $10 parking lot, v short walk to the stage area, park as close to the entrance/exit of the lot as possible so it's easier to get out when concert is over. Went there for my granddaughter's birthday party (age 7 & 11). Like the ideal of bringing your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic beverages). Party was scheduled a 1 o'clock. They set up 2 tables in the kidz kove so we can keep an eye on the little ones. It was set up in the sun with no shade. Don't know if it was do to a late start and all the other tables were taken. I went to target to buy a table umbrella to get some shade. There were other tables farther away outside the Kidz Kove. Recommend to schedule or go earlier in the day because it does get hot there. Yesterday was my first visit here and I would say it's a pretty cool park with the zip lining near by, something I've had on my bucket list and the concert series they have. Why the less stars you ask? Well they only have an older kid playground and no swing set so my toddler could only play on the wooden play train when my man and I brought her and the wheel was loose. She had a blast on the train tho and it's a beautiful park with a vintage country feel to it! I would recommend coming to this park, they have a lot to offer and for older kiddos they have a lot of fun areas for them to check out or if you have a very young one like mine, they'll love the train! This venue officially launched October 13th, but I was able to preview it at a private corporate event on September 29th as one of the first big groups they were hosting. Sign a waiver online ahead of time or in person (one per household, but each attendee needs to sign). Entrance to the parking lot (free) located on Pacific Street, west of Quarry Park. We had the park just for our group exclusively from 8am-12pm (indicated by red wristbands to differentiate between us and the next group), and most attractions were available the whole time. The park was not setup to sell food yet but we were allowed small snacks/drinks that fit in backpacks -- no coolers, no alcohol. Close-toed shoes, no loose clothing/hair/jewelry. There was a brief "ground-school" class session to attend and go over rules and techniques, safety if you wanted to do the overhead aerial obstacles/ropes course, but other attractions like the ziplines, freefall, rappel, paddleboat and rock wall did not need that special instruction. Some weight/height restrictions -- minimum 70lbs/48" and maximum 250lbs/6'6". Helmets, harness for all. There is also a kids zone for the little ones. Personally, I was able to the giant ziplines twice, and the nearly-60-foot rock climbing wall (with auto-belay). The freefall and rappelling looked a bit scary. The horizontal wall walkways and swing were not yet open. The lake paddleboats closed before I could get in line. Long lines waiting for suiting/gearing up, and a half day was not long enough especially if you arrived late then total time cut short since the 12pm cutoff was strictly upheld. Staff was friendly. Port-a-potties and portable restrooms (walk-in trailer style) available at the time. Not sure what current pricing is, but I would go back in the future! What a cool new park to have in our area. Quarry is the only adventure theme park I have ever seen or heard of and it is right here in Rocklin. You can enter the park from two different areas, we came in the back way by the Police Department. I believe the front entrance might be on Pacific St, but I am not sure. The park includes plenty of parking, walking areas, picnic tables and of course the adventure area. The staff was disorganized as they still hadn't worked the kinks out, but we ended up just buying the Zip Line pass with unlimited rides. The all adventure pass is around $40 which includes everything: paddle boats, kids cool playground, ropes course, rock wall climbing, rock wall trail, mini descent (like a bungie but no bouncing) and the large and small zip lines. The Large zip line lasts 10 seconds and is beginner level. None of us had zipped before and we were a little nervous but it was a breeze and after the first run were relaxed in going again. There is a small concession area with drinks, snow cones and hot dogs but no real food establishments. Overall this was a really fun trip and a great place to have a picnic and do something different. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning with my church group for a team-building experience. We got to do the zipline, and oh boy what an experience that was! The staff took our temperatures, made sure we had filled out all the necessary documents, weighed us to make sure we weren't over the limit... There isn't really any social distancing enforced, but it's hard to do when they are strapping you up for your safety! My overall experience was amazing. People were so friendly and I honestly can't wait to come back to do more than just ziplining! read more

They reopened 6/12/20! Had a great time with great cloudy, cool weather and NO lines bc it's the first day they're open again. Had an awesome time doing the zip lines, aerial adventure, climbing wall, free fall. Felt the 2hr all access pass was enough, we were pooped after. May not be enough on a regular busy day. Felt very safe with their double locking mechanism. Lots of friendly helpful staff around to help if you need it. For Covid 19 precautions: they will take your temp, require you to wear a mask ($5 if you dont bring your own), give you gloves, recommend you stay home if you have symptoms, and staff are wearing masks/ face shields. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for the past three years as I live on the opposite side of this park. Several times a month also hosting a birthday party here. For the last two visits I've been treated so poorly buy staff here. The first time I thought it's an anomaly, the second time I'm not a customer anymore. We don't use the zip line, only the children's rope course in the back. The workers are rude when you can get a hold of one. They're very quick to take your money even before you open up your mouth. My family and I took a walk here after dinner. What a beautiful place to walk to and even have a picnic if you would like. Quarry park is located right in the heart of old town Rocklin, behind the police department. This park is quite large and a hidden Rocklin gem, I just discovered. They have a children's playground, a large wooden train to climb on to and an area for kids to play in the water features during those hot days. The park also has an outdoor amapatheater for concerts, plays/skits or family movie night, for an idea. Bring a blanket or low level lawn chair for your comfort. Also, there is a beautiful old quarry mine lake with waterfalls, walking trails and old mining equipment beautifully displayed throughout. Just don't venture off the trail or you might get poison oak or run into a rattle snake. YIKES!!! Otherwise, this a fabulous place to spend time with your family and friends. read more

We are SO thankful for this park, the only "downer" is we don't live 8 blocks away! This is our WEEKEND SUNRISE WALK locale, just love it. The grounds are lovely! I can't say enough great things about it. As a photographer, I've shot MANY events/special occasions here. However, my favorite photos are nature shots! The views are just great. Only caught one show at amphitheater, more to come. Not sure how we'll feel about the new adventure park, but we will update when we visit that! Kudos to City for building THIS gem! read more

Came to Quarry Park for the first time with friends to attend a concert. Loved the park and concert. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that they don't enforce the rule on camp chairs. I brought my low profile beach chair and couldn't see the stage over the tall camp chairs in front of me. read more

EXTREMELY disappointed with Quarry Park. My husband and i brought our nine year to just play at the playground structure as we have once before. The playground is nothing special. It's mostly rope. We walk in the gate and an employee gets up in my face less than an inch from me and starts mumbling about a wrist band. My husband steps in front of me and starts asking what wristband. Mind you we have already played here before with no issues. The employee proceeds to tell us that we can't play unless we pay $15 PER PERSON I was flabbergasted. $15 just to play. NOT for the zip lines. JUST TO PLAY Absolutely disgusting. That park is not worth that so i DO NOT recommend it. This post is regarding the amphitheater at Quarry Park. We saw a fun cover band concert May 7th, 2021. It was wonderful! Drinks, food truck, music. Best of all, it felt almost normal. Although you saw some folks still believing in the need to wear masks, most of us (vaccine) are over COVID and ready to get back to normal. Lots of people ignoring those dumb 6' circles and just having a great time rocking to classic tunes. Well behaved crowd. Life is good. Hope these events at Quarry Park continue. Super value in a nice setting. We'd love to see Quarry Park expand, perhaps a few eateries/pubs open on weekends? read more

The zipline stopping mechanism is terrible. You slam to a stop that rocks you VERY hard. We have traveled the world doing zipline's and have never been stopped in this manner. We paid for a four hour block and was only there for an hour due to the hard stop. They do not forewarn. We will never go again. read more

Came here on a Saturday for a 2 hour slot. A good half and hour was spent suiting up and learning how to use equipment. You don't use your time for all that at the zip lines in Lake Tahoe. The gal who was explaining everything was talking so fast, we could hardly understand her. When we asked her to slow down she said I want you guys to get all your time. Even she feels the pressure. There was a huge line for the ropes course so my sisters and I went to a place that was not busy. Turns out it was a thing that takes and hour! Because we were new to all this and there is no one around to help, it took 1 and a half hours of clipping on and clipping off. When it was time to get down, our equipment had tangled up. We yelled for some help but the guy at the zip line ramp couldn't hear us because the music was so loud! Incredibly understaffed. The $4 sanitizer was not even offered to us. The place is amazing with all that is offered, but don't use the paid time for suiting up and training and hire enough staff to make it enjoyable and not frustrating. It would be helpful to get an overview of the park at the beginning and what is available, the scale of difficulty and the length of time it takes, so you can plan how to use the time. read more

Quarry Park, under construction as of this review, will soon be the newest park in Rocklin's historic Quarry District. The seventeen acre park will feature a 1000 person outdoor amphitheater which will be the venue for concerts, plays, and other entertainment. Opening in phases, with April 21st 2016 being opening of phase one, It will eventually include two stages, shops, a lake in what was originally an old Quarry from the 1800's and a seven story deep Granite Quarry. The Quarry itself has a waterfall and will eventually offer zip-lining and rock climbing. Rocklin has terrific parks and this will be the crown jewel. It will be another reason to draw visitors into the historic part of Rocklin. Within walking distance is the Rocklin History Museum, Historic Front Street, as well as Finn Hall. Hopefully folks will learn a little about Rocklin's rich history while enjoying this beautiful new park! read more

Went for the first time today and had an absolute blast. The staff was knowledgeable and thorough in ensuring our safety. Kristen was especially friendly and made our visit even better. The obstacle courses and zip lines were amazing. Even though there was a bus load of kids there when we went we never felt crowded nor did we have to wait to use any of the courses. 10/10 will go again and recommending it to any of my adventure orientated friends. read more

Love this place! Wife and I go every once in a while to the concerts they have. They have good food, drinks and put on good shows. Wish they had a place like this in Elk Grove closer to home. But Rocklin is always very welcoming and we love to get away and this is a great place for concerts with spouse dating or friends to get away for the evening. read more

This place is absolutely awesome. It's probably the best park in the area and here is why. The park is beautifully landscaped and brand new. It has a pond, walking trail, amphitheater, and much more. The layout of all these amenities are perfect and everything flows. The park is high tech and always has music playing through Bose outdoor speakers. This is a new touch that I have never seen in any park before and really sets it apart. The park is home to country concerts, city events, and food trucks!!!! What more could you ask for. Lots of easy close parking. Didnt participate in any park activities but I was there for a musical event called stairway to stardom held by Skips music. Very beautiful venue but not a lot of shade near the stage area, plenty of seating in front of the stage and you were allowed to bring your own chairs. We could see zip liners going over water and through the quarry as we walked to the event, really long zip lines I will definitely be returning to try that! read more

Up until about 2 weeks ago, this was a great park to go to, at virtually any hour of the day. It was picturesque,not very crowded, and it had lakes where ducks and geese could gang out. The lakes were fenced off from the general public. There was a stream going from one lake to the other, with a couple of puddles where my dog could soak himself in if we were out on a hot day. It's changed, and not for the better. In their attempts to make Quarry Park a mini theme park, one of the lakes is now going to be a paddle boat area. It's open now, and it won't be safe for the ducks and geese anymore. The stream is fenced off, so the dog can no longer get to it. And you can no longer walk through the park after sunset. They're marketing it to the young upwardly mobile family units, and driving guys like me away. Like I said, it USED to be a good park. read more

Had a great time today with my girls. We all zip lined, challenged ourselves on ropes courses and did some free falls. Then we made our way to the rock walls and climbed and climbed. Everything was open except the Wall Walk which appears to be complete but apparent just needs some final checks.
