Cono is the Yummiest Cuban hidden pizzeria in Miami! It is popular for its cone shaped pizza and many celebrities have eaten here. The prices of their food items are cheap but the food quality is good for its price. Their garlic bread and crema de queso are amazing! My boyfriend and I also ordered a large cheese pizza and pepperoni cono which was very good. For dessert, we ordered a cookie milk shake which was super good! The pizza lacked cheese and toppings . When you order a pizza you expect to get good food with adequate toppings. Pizza tasted like it was sitting for a while. Considering they are about a mile from my house, I was hoping this place would be a great snack spot on my way home on random days. I walked in and was disturbed by the blue lights they have all over, it gives this weird club vibe to the place with all their white decoration. Oh and it's extremely loud in there! When it comes to Cuban pizza la farándula pizza has really quality pizza and shakes. When you pass by the location it doesn't look like much but appearances can be deceiving. The staff is friendly and the vibe is pleasant. I had the chorizo cone pizza and it was full of taste and extra cheesy. They also offer traditional pizza options and large sizes. We shared a Hawaiian pizza because we're all heathens who enjoy pineapple on pizza. This was my first time trying Cuban-style pizza and I liked the soft crust and the cheese. Not sure what was up with the ham(?) though and I'm pretty certain the pineapple was canned. The dulce de leche shake was delicious so that helped make up for it. We were there for well over an hour despite it not being super busy. My friend had to ask someone to get the waitress to bring us our check because she was nowhere to be seen. Not sure how to feel about the interior. It's small and cozy like your typical local pizza joint, but has weird lighting. I wanted to take a photo of the pizza but I didn't because the red lighting made it hard to see the food. Also I don't understand what's up with the TV. I ordered delivery food so I can't say anything about the place,I did however have to call 3 times to get someone to answer the phone. The food the cone is a very smart idea but it was so chewy my jaw hurt afterwards,and there was almost no tomato sauce there, the pizza was very bad the cheese is not good at all, and the dough and sauce has no flavor at all, I love cuban pizza I am cuban myself and this is really bad cuban pizza, probably the worst I have ever had. Plus, you can try a few different unconventional options like lobster or chorizo topping. The parking is limited and narrow but they offer free delivery in the area. The decor is modern. The restaurant is located far from the touristic zone in Miami. We went there on a Monday around 5pm. The service was great (we were the only costumers they had at the time). We order crema de queso which was really good and a cono pizza which is the house speciality. The cono pizza was not really good, the crust was hard and there was no sauce inside of it. We also order tuna pizza and spaghetti napolitano. Overall is a blah restaurant with potential. Was out with the family in Miami last week Friday and decided to eat pizza so we searched for a local pizzeria and found Cono Pizza. Decided to try them out based on the reviews: our opinion: the ambiance was nice it looks like a diner, personal pan pizza was good, it had lots of cheese. The waitress was not too friendly with us, she seemed annoyed that we were asking about the different styles of pizza (they serve pizza in a cone and a pan pizza), however she was really friendly with customers she already knew, (she was a tall lady). The other girls were really nice and followed up on our bill and the take out pizza that the other lady never put in. I feel that if a company wants to grow, customer service is a key point. We passed by yesterday because we have heard the hype about their Cuban-style pizza and shakes. I was there a week ago for a delivery and the wait time was kinda crazy but then again it was the weekend and I don't think they are prepared for the type of exposure this little place is getting. Over the years, I've seen businesses in this same spot not do so well but I really hope that's not the case for this new place because it has a lot of potential. I also noticed that they run out of various things on their menu. I kept listening to the waitresses inform the customers. And it happened yesterday too. Something called "cremita". Thank God it was nothing that I was ordering, but that's no good. Especially so early on a weekday. I honestly don't mind and I am very easy going and will simply order something else from the menu but in this day and age you will find someone who will give a bad rating simply because of this. So back to my order. It was 3:30pm and I simply wanted a snack for my girls so we ordered a family sized cheese pizza, personal Hawaiian pizza (because I love it and had to try them out), garlic rolls and various shakes. That's really what my husband wanted to try. THE SHAKES and boy did they NOT disappoint! Wow. I think it's the best shakes I've tried at any restaurant. DELICIOUS. We ordered a variety to try them all out. Well we are still missing a few flavors but I'm sure we'll be back to try some more. For now, I can tell you that the Vanilla, Chocolate Almond, Strawberry, Strawberry Bom Bom, Cookie & Mamey are EXCELLENT! I ordered the chocolate almendrado (chocolate almond) and it tasted very rich and loaded with little pieces of almonds. Loved it. My other favorite was the Fresa Bom Bom (strawberry with chocolate)....WOW! An orgasm in your mouth! So rich and chocolatey but then smooth because of the strawberry ice cream. Perfect combination. The pizzas were pretty damn good too. The Hawaiian was loaded with chunks of pineapple and lots of ham and the cheese was delicious. The garlic bread was ok. Not bad taste at all but I wanted more garlic sauce. That's the only critic about that. But overall, it was good. Next time I'll try their spaghetti and cone pizza. Let's see what that's all about! I will say the decor is fun, the place is clean and the staff are really really friendly and provide great service. But the food is a complete failure. The crust appears to be pre-fab (think Boboli but stale), the toppings are tasty but sparse, and the cheese is so-so. And a roughly fourteen-inch pie -- somehow called "family size" -- is a ten-dollar upcharge, making some of their pies approach thirty bucks. For a fourteen-or-so-inch pizza whose quality is far exceeded by picking up a Di Giorno at the grocery store. These seem like really good people and again I cannot stress enough how good and friendly the staff are....but the owners need to step up their food game to match the decor and not let down their people and their customers. EDIT - The $10 up-charge to go from a small eight-inch pizza to the larger "family size" was not easy to see on the menu, and the manager took care of us and removed it. That was kind, and appreciated. However, the pizza itself was disappointing. Real shame as it's a nice place with a good staff. read more

Ordered for pickup at their location in Hialeah, was informed my order was ready at 9:03. Arrived 10 mins later and was informed my order would be ready in 10, had 3 different employees as for my name and but nothing was done, made me wait another 30 mins for my order, some arrived after me and left before me. One of the waitresses was bringing out my order and was instructed by another waitress to take it back as if to make me wait even longer. It was my first time at this location and it will probably be my last, too many good pizza places in Miami go waste your time with this one. read more
