Estimates for timing of work were realistic and they successfully pushed to complete the job by the deadline they had promised us, despite the fact that we had added additional work in the interim. Costs were estimated accurately and transparently documented for us on a weekly basis, so there were no surprises, and subcontracts were cost-effective and well supervised. We were advised of a start date and bright and early that morning, roofers arrived. The workers were polite, waited for us to move vehicles before parking their equipment on our lot. They were very quick and thorough with the removal of the old roof shingles and cleaned up quickly. The project was estimated to be 2 - 2.5 days. Because of the threat of rain on day 3, Green Leaf staying late the 2nd day to ensure there was no way for water to enter. They would show up at 7 not start til 7:30 take a coffee break from 9 to 10 go to lunch at 12 and leave at 3:30 and I would be charged for a full day. Or they would show up for a couple of hours barely do any work and I would get charged for those hours. He never finished my project telling me in the fall he was too busy to finish the railings on my deck that he started in May, after I had already paid him more in labor than his estimate by 20 hours at $49 an hour. His employees would yell at each other and verbally fight on occasions as well. I had to hire another contractor to finish the job. I would never use him again.
