Both of them spend time getting to get to the root of the problem, instead of just putting a bandage on it. The last couple of years, due to insurance, I have seen only Dr. Josh. There have been times where I can barely walk, and after a couple of appts, I am fine. I could never go anywhere else or trust anyone else. Peggy runs the front. I felt right at home and followed the plan Dr. Joshua Budaj gave me for my chiropractic appointments. My back feels loose and light, which I wasn't expecting. I thought the 100lb of pressure I felt in my neck and back was normal! I didn't understand what was going on at first, but Dr. Budaj explained what the issues were and why it was important to maintain alignment. I also saw Dr. David Budaj for a nutritional appointment. I've been taking my vitamins and following my plan. I feel good. Something I haven't been able to say (or have felt) in a long time. When I think about Bloomfield Wellness I feel peaceful, calm, and relaxed. The office is clean and organized. The receptionist is the kindest, most loving person. I look forward to seeing them, I love coming here. If you've never been to a chiropractor, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Josh or Dr. David. They are just wonderful!

At barely 21 years of age, (over 10 years ago), I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder of…read moreunknown origin. The symptoms were debilitating and specialist after specialist offered nothing but shoulder shrugs and prescriptions that were supposed to manage my symptoms. Instead, the symptoms grew worse and nothing was being done to address the root cause of the problem. Growing discouraged and depressed, a friend referred me to Dr. Perkins. I had never been to a chiropractor and I had heard my share of stories, but at the this point, I had nothing left to lose. Upon meeting Dr. Perkins and his friendly staff, I felt immediately at ease, even optimistic! His bedside manner is professional, compassionate, and steeped in integrity. Through regular chiropractic adjustments, detoxification protocols and nutritional supplementation, my symptoms began to disappear and I began to feel whole again. I have even had my blood work done several times and there are no longer any markers for the disease that I was once told I would have to live with for the rest of my life. This experience was so inspiring to me, I transferred to Wayne State University (from MSU) and switched my degree to study Human Nutrition and Food Science. I was lucky enough to work with Dr. Perkins in my last year of school and he inspired me more and more each day. I actually went on to marry a chiropractor and not a day goes by that I do not think back to my time with Dr. Perkins and consider the model that he created and continues to implement at Alternative Health Solutions. As my husband and I build our practice, we often discuss Dr. Perkins. Be it his commitment to his patients, his brilliance with regards to innate health, or the fact, that he truly saved my life, Dr. Perkins is a true healer and an inspiration. I only wish that I still lived close enough to be a patient.

Because I had an existing well-known established chiropractor that I had been seeing for 25+ years, who is absolutely fabulous, I walked into this place very skeptical with all the guards up and thinking there's nothing this new place would be able to give me. But when I say walked, I really meant shuffled and stumbled because I was bent over in so much pain with every step. Without going into detail about my condition, I was depleted, in tears and easily agitated because of the nerve pain that I was experiencing. But when I walked out, I was eternally grateful for Dr. Adam and his team. Not only was everyone so professional and pleasant and the place was super clean. But what really stood out was the 1-1 interaction with Dr Adam and especially with Taylor, his assistant, with her empathy and support I felt seen which is important when you're already in a vulnerable state. Moreover, the quality of the care that I received was so exceptional that when I walked out of their office all I can say is I felt like I had a new body. Yes, it was temporary relief, and I will need to go back, but I walked out with smile and laughter and walking straight up, so much so that I felt compelled to share my story in writing this review because although I have a long journey to healing, with Dr. Adam and his team by my side I truly know I will get there and they helped to restore my faith and hope that I can get back to my pre-injury self. With so much gratitude.
