When we got our prequalification for the loan -- we started looking in earnest at many homes in many neighborhoods. We definitely ended up relying on Hart to remind us of how the particular home fit into our template, or did not fit into our template and had issues. There were a few situations where his honesty about what he was seeing for us literally saved us from making the wrong decision (even when it may have benefited his own colleagues). We ended up paying below bank appraisal on our home in a hot neighborhood, which may have been paritally luck, but we really believe that Hart's knack for using his intuition to find the best path was instrumental.
