This store is really kinda awful. I had a very uncomfortable experience while shopping with my boyfriend. Everything with an expiration date was months overdue and should be tossed. Everything is covered in dust and nothing is very sterile or clean. There is not really any privacy and you can feel other customers and staff watching you which is pretty unsettling. My boyfriend and I bought a bottle of lube and realized it was expired for months, and the quality of the product was pretty gross. My boyfriend took back the lube and spent over 45 minutes trying to get a replacement or a refund. Every other lube my boyfriend tried to get was also expired. They couldn't offer him a replacement, or a credit card return. They ended up just giving him a gift card. Hopefully when we come back to spend this gift card there will be some lube that is not expired. read more

Mini lube tubes at the check out, I thought they all were $3.99 cb that was the only clearly marked price, 2 of them were $9.99 for the little 1 time use trial size! I tried to use my 10% check in offer on yelp to which the cashier said " that mother f***** prick manager never f***** even put that in the system what a f***** prick..." I know it's a sex shop but that doesn't mean you have to have a trash mouth in front of customers. He did give me 30% off the highest priced item which came out a little more than the 10% would have, so there's that. Bedtyme (not time, tyme) Stories got my hopes up, thinking I had found a secret sex boutique in the adorable Asheville area. Alas, in spite of the lovely meadow mural on the outside of the store, it is just another smut shop. We parked in front and strode in, heads held high, presented our IDs to the clerk through the little portal, and then were buzzed in. I admit, the clerk was friendly and the store was very clean. In typical Southern style the male shoppers looked down shamefully and stepped aside when I passed, often with a polite "ma'am" and a nod.
