    Entry way to Video Games

This is our 2nd time going to Orbit! Always have the best service and if you have any questions they'll help! It is a great place that has Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, and Video Games on the other side! It isn't just a regular movie store, there's movies from other countries, movies you've never heard of or seen! The prices are understandable for what they are worth. 100/10!:)

Wow. This place has an AMAZING selection of video games and consoles. Walking into their video game room is like walking into a museum. Every time I go they have some new things I've never laid eyes on! Sometimes they even have modded Gameboy systems which is cool. They have had some pretty rare stuff come in in the past.

Dude. If you like movies and geeky stuff this is the place to be! I went to this place several times while in town. They have the best selection of movies to rent of any place I've been to since, well, Blockbuster (RIP) was open. Orbit has a ton of obscure movies and has some old Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo (and others) games to purchase. They even have some vinyl and I found a couple Dario Argento movie scores-that I made myself not purchase to save money! I even bought their damn t shirt! Anyway listen...GO HERE.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s. My family spent most Friday nights browsing our local video store and trying to convince each other what movies we needed to watch over the weekend. This place gives me that nostalgic feeling of family and simpler times. Even though it's more of a 'nerd chic' kinda spot these days, it's still relieving that enough folks prefer the tangible experience to the digital one that this place stays open. There's still hope!! Haha! Seriously though- the care and effort that's gone into this place is most appreciated by the true cinephile. I love it. Go here.

One thing that really makes this place great is the owners and staff. These guys and gals have a real passion for music and are extremely knowledgable. This is rather refreshing because most corporate ran music stores have a staff that doesn't know Billie Holiday from Billy Idol. If you're looking to beef up your Vinyl collection, look no farther. They have the largest selection and best prices in Morristown. If you are reading this and have never heard anything on vinyl, I implore you to stop reading now, acquire a record player, then resume reading this review. Believe me, your ears will thank you once you have done so. Another great thing about Retro is you never know what you might find from day to day. There is always something different. I have found the occasional out of print item at a dirt cheap price that just makes my day! However, if you can't find what your looking for, they will order it for you at no extra cost. I call that a win. Support your local music store. In other words, "Damn the man, save the empire" -Empire Records

Retro did the job in about an hour and a half! I was very happy they had all the parts in stock to get my phone functional once more. They even had a new stylus for my Note that I lost last year. They saved my day!

I liked the name so much because I was the type of person who used malaprops a good amount. It's extra charming because you're able to order something from their cafe while reading your book. This spot is deceptively huge. The different sections are very intentional and beautifully organized. I had an especially great time looking at the "Beautiful Books" section this visit. I ended up falling in love with a short stories book by Chips Hardy that I took home. I also adored their graphic t-shirts here. I am not a big t-shirt person, but always want more graphic tees, so was so excited to love this one so much. I had a really special experience with one of the booksellers here on my recent visit too. I could not find The Enchanted April in the fiction section and when I asked, one of the booksellers got really excited about the author and that book. She passionately told me how wonderful the book was. We were sad to see it was sold out, but suggested I check a bookstore a block over. I love this bookstore and think everyone should make it a stop on an Asheville trip.

It seems as though it's only open until the afternoon though, as it wasn't staffed when we were there. But there's still plenty of seating if you wanted to sit a spell. The bookstore portion is really well curated with a nice "local" section featuring local writers and interest. I love checking out this section when I travel and there was a ton to dig into here. They also have a good sized kid's section most notable thing is how many books they offer with autographed copies. That means they seem to bring in a ton of writers which is so exciting for the Asheville community. Speaking of community, I peeked at their events calendar and it looks like they have a ton of book clubs in a variety of different genres that meet regularly. So no matter your interest (romance, science fiction, mystery, horror, etc) you can find a meetup. Some are hosted in store but others in local breweries, libraries, and other third spaces in the area. Excellent offerings across the board!
