The starters of BBQ spare ribs and crispy duck were very tasty and the sauce was sticky and moreish. I decided on having two starters for my main, BBQ spare ribs and Thai Chicken wings. Even though I'd devoured an entire rib cage for my starter and main I must say that the BBQ ribs are a great specialty of this restaurant. The wings were raw in the middle; I sent them back and got a new plateful. Again, these were under cooked and I was given a poor excuse as to why they were undercooked. They told me that the blood in the middle would do me no harm. I disagreed. I have had great experiences at this restaurant in the past, but this did put me off. I should have ordered a main course, which would have been a better idea. Despite my difficulties here, I will probably come again based on past experience. All of the food is excellent and I can highly recommend the hot and sour soup (guaranteed to shift a cold), the wun tun soup, aromatic duck (the quintessential Cantonese dish but just as good here as a restaurant in town) and classics sweet and sour Cantonese style or king prawn kung po. Soups are around £2, duck is £7 and mains are around £5. They have some very reasonable set menus. The waiting are is lovely, much nicer than most takeaway places. However if you don't fancy the wait you can always call ahead or they deliver within 3 miles for £1. They also take credit cards. Closed Mondays except bank holidays when they are open 5:00pm - 10:30pm
