Fanloli is my favorite destination! I always look forward to seeing what they have in stock. I've been a fan of Sanrio characters since the earliest I can remember. There's so many options for gifts from makeup to cute capybara keychains! I love their totes as well! So many gadgets to choose from. I sway towards the stuffed animal keychains and the seasonal hair accessories always but most of all, it's always a joy to see Jewel. Went here on a Friday night after picking up some dinner nearby. Had to see what that rave was about after seeing lots of people going on and out. As soon as you walk in, you'll see an assortment of shelves and glass cases of San Rio products, you won't be disappointed! Takes me back to my younger years or when I was in elementary and all we fussed over were the San Rio characters (grew up in Milpitas, CA). Anyhow, I also recall seeing some facial products from Korea at this store. If you have some free time, it'd be worth checking this spot out, you'd never know what you'll end up finding that you never knew was needed. Adorable little gift shop with a huge disparate assortment of stuff, e.g. everything from toys and rhinestone bobby pins and headbands to gift cards and toys to drum roll ... wait for it ... lipsticks! Little knick knacks of stuff you never knew you never knew you needed or wanted till you bumped into it. It's a little girl's paradise, a way of paying homage to frills and beauty and all things feminine. It's such an odd little shop to bump into, especially when you're not looking for it. It's tucked away in a bit of an obscure location, so if you're not looking for it, you'll miss it. read more

I was in the area for dinner and I need to kill some time waiting for my friends. I saw this store and stopped by. They offer lots of items from cell phone charms, jewelry, sanrio, kpop related items and more. I took my time to look at everything inside the store and had to stop myself from over purchasing. Fanloli has a lot of cute stuff here, primarily Sanrio, K-pop, and some Ghibli merchandise. I like stopping by here to look at all the doodads and notebooks they have here. They also have things like pouches, glasses, blind boxes, plushies, enamel pins, etc. There are also some beauty products like hair dye, skincare, makeup etc. I haven't bought anything yet but I really want to buy some stuff since I love cute things! read more

Lots of little cartoon character options, accessories, bags, and k-beauty options that are trending. Prices seem within range of what you can buy on Olive Young and other popular websites. Zoey was incredibly quick and helpful in reaching out to provide excellent customer service for a purchase that was made. Fanloli fills my heart with so much joy. It's brightly lit, filled with plushies and Hello Kitty merchandise and for my K-pop fans out there.. there's one little section dedicated to them. The place is cute and I could easily lose myself to everything, but the items aren't cheap so keep that in mind as you pick up a basket at the door and start your shopping. I like this place for the variety of skincare and cute gifts but what's the deal with the hours? I get my haircut across the street and since I was already in the neighborhood I decided to swing by. The hours posted say they open at noon but at 12:15 there were zero employees, the store was still locked, and all the lights were off. Fine, no big deal, I had tickets to see a move at the Century across the street. I came back around 2:30 and luckily the lights are on but the door is locked and they have an "out for lunch" sign taped to the glass. So someone arrived at around 12:30 and by the 2:30 they already need to shut down the store for lunch? Needless to say I didn't wait around. They do carry some products that I love that are discontinued but who knows if I'll even be able to purchase them anymore as the posted hours mean nothing and the employees just close down whenever they feel like it. read more

Finally we get some retail therapy in downtown San Mateo! Sometimes we just want to browse after delicious options but there aren't many retail options here. This chain location is quite large and offer many cute accessories, stuffies and also Japanese/Korean skincare. I picked up some cute Hello Kitty hair clips I haven't seen elsewhere - a happy addition post Sunday ramen run! read more

This store is super cute and has a lot little trinkets. They specialize in Asian inspired themes, such as Sanrio, K-pop stuff, and more. My favorite Fanloli location! Super close to my place and it's the biggest location near me! When I went there they have a bunch of Sanrio stuff! My favorites are the Sanrio sticker packs, the sanrio mechanical pencils, and the gudetama plushies. In the end I got a molang heart plush and two packs of pusheen stickers which were my favorite because it also included some overwatch pusheens and pixelated pusheens! The workers were really nice!
