I purchased a gold sequined sari blouse, and was assured they could tailor it to my daughters exact measurements. So I paid the extra amount, they took her measurements and let me know they would call within a few days for pick up. After many attempts by me to contact them, the item was finally ready a month and a half later. I picked up the item paid in full and brought home for my daughter to try on. The blouse was never tailored. It is 4 inches too large still, so clearly the work was never done. I've been close to picture with a safety pin showing the width to where it needed to be resized. Upon trying on the blouse, the sequins began falling off immediately. Within five minutes of wearing, it was clear this is a shoddy item. For $65 plus tailoring, I would expect a much better quality. Just placing the item on the table caused several sequins to fall off (refer to picture of sequins next to blouse). Needless to say, we never got to wear this. Lost all my money, and this item went straight to the trash. Will never shop here again. Do not purchase anything here. It is absolutely terrible quality, and they lied about Tailoring as well. read more

Fancy Stop helped me find pants on March 5, 2025 for a Sangeet. Due to my disability I was not able to try on the pants at the store. I took them to my alterations and it was then I discovered they were way too big and wouldn't look good after being altered. I returned to the shop March 14 (9 days later) and was told I could exchange if I had brought them 2-3 days after purchase not past then. They also stated the pants looked worn because the elastic in the waistband was twisted. Fancy Stop lacks a clear message of their return policy and has unreasonable expectations of return. My one small recommendation is to tidy the dressing rooms a little more - there was a giant dead roach on the floor when I was in there and I don't know if it was just not noticed before but it was a bit gross. Fancy stop is an option, if you need a blouse for a sari stitched for a wedding. The pricing of $65 to get crop top stitched seems very much so at a premium. I provided the fabric and asked for a pretty simple style. I'm not familiar with pricing or what is fair for a blouse, but it felt very simple to get done. The positive is that they did get the job done on time. If you pay in cash, you aren't charged tax. There aren't many options out there if you're in a wedding and need this done, so they are trust worthy and timely. read more
