Setting up an appointment was easy, pricing was decent - can't complain seeing how they come right to our house which was stress free for us and our boys. Augustine was AMAZING! Explained everything to us, met our dogs and everything went about more smoothly than we expected seeing how our boys aren't the friendliest with new people .. but I think they made a new best friend!! They look and (I'm sure) feel way better now. It was so relieving to know they were in good hands. Can't thank you enough! See you again soon for their next appt! 100% recommend !!!!

We have a Persian cat who requires daily brushing and the occasional bath, and even then it's…read moredifficult to keep up with all the fur! We started taking him to Kaitlyn a few years ago, and it's one of the best decisions we've made. She always returns him in beautiful condition, looking so handsome and smelling great. She treats him with the utmost care, as if he were her own, and she always does an excellent job with his lion cut. Before finding The Grooming Box, we had tried another mobile groomer at a comparable price point, and even with two people in the van working on him, the results weren't nearly as good. The difference in quality and detail with Kaitlyn is night and day. I've recommended The Grooming Box to friends and co-workers in the area, and everyone has had wonderful experiences with nothing but positive things to say about Kaitlyn and the other groomers. The staff who answer the phone are polite, professional, and easy to work with, and the quality of care and grooming is unbeatable. We look forward to continue using The Grooming Box and Kaitlyn for all of our future grooms and pets.

You have to take your dog for daycare for multiple days before they can be boarded. They don't…read moreboard dogs over age 10 unless you're an established customer. This is not a good spot for anyone who is traveling with dogs. Editing to add that I posted the comment immediately after speaking with a representative of the business who told me different info than what the business owner replied. She asked if my senior dog had been boarded before and I said yes, explaining that I travel around the country and board my dogs quarterly and send them to daycare monthly. She was clear that they have phased out accepting senior dogs who haven't been their clients. She also said I needed several days of daycare to assess temperament. It sounds like there may be some disconnects between this company's policies and what their reps say. This can probably be remedied with some training. I appreciate the kind response from the business owner (+1 star for that) and wish Friends of Toto all the best as they get the communication issue with prospective clients sorted.

This was my first time here since it switched from Muttley Crew. I brought my (shaggy) mini…read moreschnauzer in for a much needed groom. I will definitely return! They are also a small boutique, but I didn't shop. (The selection is fairly small.) My review is based on the grooming. The space is neat and organized. It smells good inside. The staff is friendly. There are lots of add-ons: I chose specialty cut & the details (teeth brushing, nail filing) which did Drive up the price. ($45 became $71) I will probably not do the extra details every time, but I do love that it only took 1.5 hours vs 3 or more at other places. This also means that they conditioned and brushed out her legs instead of shaving them for her schnauzer cut. My dog was tired but happy when I picked her up... and very proud of herself! Some things to keep in mind: Wednesday is their only long day and the latest grooming appt is 5pm. I booked my next one two months in advance. Tips are cash or check only! Bottom line, it feels good to support a local business that does good work!

The new facility is better in every way, and the owners and staff are the same terrific crew. This is a full-service dog center: daycare, grooming, overnight boarding, hiking excursions, farm outings, etc. So far I've only taken my dog there for daycare and the occasional grooming. She starts yodeling in the car when we're a couple blocks away, drags me in the front door and trots off happily with the staff, without even a glance back at me. At pickup time she's happy, tired and ready to come home - though I think she wishes we lived upstairs so she wouldn't really have to leave all of her pals. When I travel later this year, I'll be able to relax knowing my goofball is in good hands. Highly recommended.

The photo is of Lady the day after, still looking so lovely. Alisha updated me a couple times throughout the day to let me know how things were going. Lady's hair is still super soft, she smells great, and the pretty bling clip is in place. While I'm able to take care of Lady at home, I will definitely bring her in to Alisha and her crew for a "spa day" again. It's a less stressful experience for Lady (and for mommy!)
