We hired Nancy for the PQ girls softball opening day festivities. Nancy was awesome! She did the airbrush stencil paints which are so much quicker then traditional face painting. The airbrush paints were so pretty! All of the kids loved them! She had so many designs to choose from: Disney, Star Wars, MLB team logos, Hello Kitty, plus tons of animals and plants. If you are careful when showering and avoid soap/water on the site then the airbrush painting lasted for 3 days with my kids (if you scrub in the shower then it comes off in 1 day). This is the second time Nancy has done face painting for my kids' birthday parties and she's always such a big hit!! I found and reached out to her via Yelp, and then communicated via email regarding availability and rates. She was prompt in her responses and requested additional information like age of birthday child, theme of party etc. I requested her to arrive an hour into the party to give time for all the guests to arrive. She was very punctual and set up her work station quickly, while I announced her arrival to the kids and they lined up. She started with the birthday child and proceeded to do quick, fantastic designs for each child as per their request, talking to each of them and putting even the youngest ones at ease. Once every child had a turn, she invited all the kids to get extra designs painted on their arms, legs etc. And once the kids were done, she painted designs on adults interested to get it done as well. Before the end of the party, quite a few parents had asked me for her contact info! Nancy did a really great job painting the kid's faces at my daughter's 4th birthday party! There were so many kids and she did a really great job at getting them all done. I do parties on Sunday's and most people do not do face painting on Sunday's. She was very responsive a booking time and got me in just two weeks notice (which I don't recommend waiting). She interacted with both the adults and the kids as they were getting their face painted and that's huge as some I above seen don't even engage with the person getting a face painting. Thank you. The only reason why I am giving her a four is because the travel fee was a little much for what gas actually cost right now, but other than that I highly recommend if you are in her area. read more
