I've been a loyal customer at Fancy Nail for over eight years--engagement, wedding nails, and I've brought friends, family, and my daughter. Last Friday, I got gel. By Wednesday, it peeled, revealing uncured polish--a huge health risk. When I calmly and quietly explained the situation and asked for a fix, the manager loudly argued in front of everyone. Knowing my polish was uncured, she tried to make me come back the next day because the original tech wasn't in. First, she offered to fix only one nail. When I pointed out more, she reluctantly said two. She refused to check my toes, saying if not chipped, they were fine--though my nails weren't chipped, just uncured. My toes had the exact same color on so I was nervous about them as well. She implied I wanted a free color change, despite me asking for the same color--just properly cured. They've lost me, my mom, and anyone I recommended as customers. I won't recommend them after today. She said helping me took pay from other techs. I reminded her I was loyal and this was a safety issue. She loudly asked who would help me. While my nails were fixed, she berated me loudly, and techs spoke about me in another language, saying "gel" repeatedly, so you could just tell. We all know that feeling. I couldn't calmly finish. I didn't let them re-polish my toes after removal because I couldn't take more berating or gestures after nearly an hour. The tech who fixed my nails was kind. I'm grateful for her honesty in letting me know she found more uncured nails. I tipped her for her time and kindness, even while her boss was rude. If you get gel here, triple-check curing I can't express enough how uncured polish is a safety and risk to you--no one should face this treatment. read more

I visited Fancy nails on December 9, 2021. I wanted Christmas colors red, gold and green in the dip powder and I wanted coffin shaped nails with tips. I was told that a regular set was $35.00 it would be $10.00 more for the tips and $5.00 more for the coffin shape. The total was $50.00. I thought that was a bit much but I agreed to pay it. I asked again to be sure I was clear on the price. When my nails were completed. I went to pay. I was about to hand my debit card for payment but  paused when I heard the price. I explained that $50.00 was the price I was quoted. I was told by the owner that the price was more because of the length of my nails and also they charge for the different colors. I was appalled. I paid $10.00 extra  for the tips and now I am being charged again for the length. I had often used different colors and was never charged extra before. If you have 10 fingers and each finger is dipped in powder you are using the same amount of product if you use 1 color or 3. I couldn't believe that I was told one price and told something different at checkout. I refuse to be price gouged. I was paying $50.00 for my nails no more no less.  I am so disappointed in Fancy nails, it's ashame that honest people are being taken advantage of. I won't patronize this establishment in the future. My daughter and I visited today. The woman at the desk as well as the one who completed my daughter's service were very unprofessional, slick and outright rude! When I asked about an overcharge on our bill of $15, she immediately became defensive and they both immediately began talking to one another louder in their native language. What they didn't realize is that my daughter actually speaks their language and understood exactly what they were saying. It was clear from their conversation that they were upset that I asked about the charge and "that's what they do"..sprinkled with a few other choice words. I finally said "Okay, what are you saying about me?" Suddenly the chatter immediately stopped! Businesses have charges...I get that but don't try to sneak it in snd then get upset when you are caught lying. The only reason I tipped (and I always do) is because the woman who completed my service, was professional. During the conversation, she was clearly uncomfortable from the look on her face. Plus, she was a little older and completed my services very well. I don't usually frequent these types of places because there are others that are more aligned with our needs. However, this was an emergency but you'd better believe, I'll never go back again nor will any member of my family. Just be honest...and be appreciative and thankful for the business you have AND the clients that keep you in business. read more

I've been going here all 2021 and they do great every time! my family and I have gotten walk-in manicures, pedicures, full sets, gel, nail designs, fills, etc. and they do it all beautifully! the employees are very nice and always willing to make your nails look beautiful :) read more

I'm here currently to get my nails done. The young female nail tech is the rudest that I have seen. I was just trying to verify what she said. She said, "no, I didn't say that you did". I told her she did make the statement. She said "yes." Rude and confused is what I call the nail tech. Then she told me to air dry my toes because the drier isn't working. She said, "there is nothing else I can do!!" I will not be back here. Poor customer service. Unprofessional!!!! read more

Lisa is awesome! I had thick cracked heels going in, smooth heels coming out. I have never had someone work so hard to get my feet looking great! She also took the time to do French ombré on my nails and they look awesome! Best salon I have ever been to! read more

I really wanted to like this place. I tend to go to a nail salon in Memphis, but I was in olive branch so I thought it would be more convenient to just go to one near by. I was the car looking for places near by and I came across "Fancy Nails." I began reading the reviews and as I scrolled down I read nothing but great reviews for this place! As I scrolled down my eyes were filled with "FIVE" star reviews. I thought to myself, "this is it, I found a place." My friend and I then decided to go to this place. The name itself sounded like such a catch. We came in and were greeted by a lovely lady. We specifically asked for overlays when she asked us what we wanted. As one of the nail techs started doing my friends nails he was putting fake nails on her which was the complete opposite of what she wanted. Buuut, everyone makes mistakes, right? I get it, we do, but this was just too much. She did not shape my nails or added acrylic to make them the same length, she painted outside of my fingernail, she didn't turn the light on for me so I could get them to dry, she didn't even paint all of my nail correctly. She overall did a really bad job on my nails. But I guess if I see my nails from afar you can't really tell. However, my friends nails were a complete nightmare!! It was horrific! They were suppose to be round but he did them completely crooked. She asked for a light pink (she showed it to him) and he instead gave her a very dark color. Her nails were just awful. In conclusion, I was very unpleased by this place. I will not return, however, I wish y'all the very best. I do know, many people enjoy your services but I was not one of those people. read more
