Booked an appt, was told "you can wait" then after 40 mins of waiting they wanted me to go sit at another empty station while the lady finished a pedicure. I declined my service and rudely was told that she was behind today, knowing if I was 40 mins late to my appt I wouldn't be seen. Why book appts if you can't keep them on time!! Decided, against my better judgment, to try this salon for a pedicure. My amazing nail tech is relocating out of state so I'm on the hunt for a new one. What a mistake. I made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes early. One of the employees sat me in a pedi chair and proceeded to leave me there while she went to a table and did someone else's nails. I sat there with foil on my toes for 30 minutes before she finally came back and said "sorry." The employee then did a rough and rushed 20 minute pedicure, barely giving my feet a 5 second scrub, throwing polish on, covering my legs and feet in oil and then promptly charged me $45. Nobody spoke to me the entire hour I spent there, aside from the half apology I received. The employees spoke to each other in their own language the entire time. Worst experience I've ever had in a salon. Needless to say, I'll never go back. Good luck to this place. read more

I've been going there for awhile. I just noticed that I always pick the pedi service that lasts from 35-45 minutes with an application of acrylic paint. My service has only lasted about 25-30 minutes. I get a generic foot massage and a HOT ASS rock rubbed on my legs. I noticed that I was being shorted when I actually read what I was paying for and I was paying for a service that wasn't totally fulfilled. I can't even give 2 stars. read more

Still trying to find a salon that does great pedis and manis it's always one or the other in the town of disco / Brentwood. The pedicures are good. My Nails which are gel sooooo simple are always uneven. I got my nails done today wanted to dip and the color was way off. The lady was sweet and tried to fix with adding gel on top. When i got home i noticed there were many "dips" in my nails and uneven filling. My nails on the left were square while the one on the right were rounded. She tried her best. So i give 3 stars. So save yourself from the upset and if they tell you to go to the last table DON'T wait for someone else. She buffed my naturals down so they were super super thin. YOU DONT NEED THEM TO BE THIN FOR GEL POLISH. So now my nails are super thin, when I told her to stop you are making my nails thin, she said you want dip to make strong. Terrible. I'm not one to complain but I asked for something completely different & got this. My natural nails were long and the guy added acrylics and shaved it all off under the acrylics. I was better off doing a gel manicure and kept my natural nails since I didn't get what I originally wanted. I opted to try a local shop since I'm here visiting parents over the weekend because I always doubted Discovery Bay beauty salons but this just really solidified my doubts. I'm sticking to my Dublin-San Jose beauty girls. This was VERY disappointing and my nails will never recover, I will have to wait until they grow even again. read more

I had a Gel Manicure there yesterday for the first time. I wanted to try one of the local places. The manicurist was very fast but she didn't take the time to look at the polish she was applying before placing my hand under the light. Several of my nails are lumpy and have like little dot dents in the finish. I think the top coat didn't cover evenly. I commented on one nail that was overlapping onto my cuticle, I was a fraud it would lift. She did pleasantly fix that. I normally do gel on myself and I just feel like if I'm paying for a service it should be better than what I do myself!! read more

Convenient location for living in Discovery Bay and they do a good job, but major issues with scheduling and keeping on schedule so making an appointment is almost useless. Just make sure you are okay with making an appt time that's not necessarily the time they will actually see you. Even if you politely ask how much longer you have to wait (after already waiting 20 minutes past your appt time) you will always be told 5 minutes and it won't be 5 minutes. Been going here for a good year and at least 50% of the time they are running very late. Also my last appt I was called and cancelled on 10 minutes before. Again fine place for nails just expect to have your time wasted and be lied to even when you ask how much longer you have to wait because you have somewhere to be at ____ time. read more
